About Zina Hermez

Career

Zina is an author, a writing and marketing coach, and a long-time educator. She also hosts masterminds and workshops. She’s taught thousands of courses throughout the years to people of all ages that have come from many different backgrounds and parts of the world.

Zina’s worked as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Tutor to top executives at automotive corporations in the Detroit area for years and has taught academics to children in various subjects. Zina continues to influence numerous people through her teaching and work.

Writing:

Zina’s written several hundred articles. Her guest posts have been featured in Christianity Today, the Southern Writers Magazine, the Breathe Conference blog, the Salonpas blog, and the Suite T blog among many other places.

She’s the author of the Not Without God books. Her books, Not Without God: A Story of Survival, and Not Without God: Hope In the Storm have impacted many people. Zina writes about overcoming a catastrophic accident at just the young age of sixteen years old and how she survived and learned to walk through her faith in the Lord.

She has developed the “Writing Because I Can’t Not Write Group – For seasoned and aspiring writers.” Zina hosts FREE workshops via Zoom almost every Friday and also teaches a free Zoom course online to academic students. She’s made a networking ‘hub’ many influential authors, speakers, and marketers have joined her meetings.

Faith disclaimer

Zina believes that God loves everyone primarily because we are his children.

She says he loves us the way we are. Grace is not earned; it is freely given. “If grace were given to us because of our works, we would not always demonstrate that we deserve it.”

Paul the apostle, the great writer (transcriber) of the Bible says, “For by grace you have been saved, and it is not of your own doing, it is a gift from God.” (Ephesians 2:8)

Early life

Sadly, Zina became paralyzed after being hit by a car while trying to cross the street on her way to school.

It’s a miracle from the Lord that she’s alive. She uses crutches (“the kind with the rings around the arms”) or a wheelchair to get around. Zina says her walking endurance is not where she’d like it to be, but she is hopeful about being healed in the future with recent developments in AI technology,

Some doctors predicted Zina would never walk, so the progress she has made is huge.

  2. I enjoyed reading your testimony. I have always believed that the things in which we go through in life is never about us. God allowed us to go through it for His purpose. I also believe that those storms we face builds us in Christ. At the end of your story we become healed from it, which makes it medicine for the next person we meet that will becoming down that same path we just walked on.

The bible says in Revelation 12:11, ” And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” And I see that you are doing just that. May you never stop doing it. I pray that God continue to give you boldness.

    Be blessed my sister.
