Three words. God loves you.❤️ He loves you because you are you, his child, and the one he longs to be with. You will one day understand the importance of his profound existence. All we have is now. Make the most of it. This is your opportunity to fully live.
God loves you just the way you are, grace is not earned—it is freely given. If grace were given because of “works” most of us would not benefit. Our works have not always demonstrated that we should earn it. You know that. The ‘doing’ good will get us into heaven, but the doing is just a reflection of how we feel in our hearts.
God is able to pull you out of your past, so you can live fully! There is no greater time than now to turn your life around. At times this path will not be an easy one. Put away any arrogance, or sense of entitlement.
Paul writes in a letter to the Romans in Chapter 10: “If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead–you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified. And it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved” (Romans 10:9-10).
I remind you of this verse because I think some have a misconception about how to come to the Lord. They may think you need to have had a sin-free life or that he would not accept you into the kingdom if you’ve really messed up! The opposite is true.
This isn’t always a live your best life kind of path, though, at times it will be difficult. We suffer hardship and even rejection from friends. Life isn’t always pleasurable. But following Jesus is not a one-time event—he is continually molding and shaping us.
I’m friendly and passionate about my faith, family, and friends. Having a relationship with God through prayer, conversation, and studying the Bible is crucial. After being hit by a car while trying to cross the street on my way to school at just sixteen years old, I became paralyzed.
It’s a miracle from the Lord I’m alive and able to walk. I use crutches (the kind with the rings around the arms), and I hope to one day walk without them. Some doctors predicted I would never walk again, so the progress I have made is huge.
I’ve home-schooled classes at churches in the metro Detroit area. I’ve taught creative and structured writing, grammar, essay, and other Language arts courses. I’ve incorporated free writing, journals, essays, college prep, the five-paragraph, research papers, and more.
I teach many subjects, and I’ve worked with thousands of students from different backgrounds and parts of the world. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and majored in English and minored in History. I also have a Liberal Arts degree in General Studies. My students’ ages range from kindergarten to adult.
I work as an English as a Second Language Instructor with adults and teach reading, writing, vocabulary, pronunciation and have trained students to take standardized tests such as the TOEIC (a business placement exam) and the TOEFL (a test for college admission).
I’ve taught English as a Foreign Language to automotive managers and engineers at corporations like General Motors, Ford, Nissan, Bosch, Mercedes-Benz, and Toyota.
I’ve taught numerous children and accumulated many jobs throughout the years. I began by running my own teaching services back in 2005 while incorporating math and other subjects. I’ve taught Writing, Geometry, Study Skills, Biology, and many other courses. I like to keep students on track and help them to overcome academic obstacles.
I’m also certified to teach Phonics and have passed the Phonics First Foundations Level I and II Courses.
I’ve written well over 500 articles. My guest posts have been featured in Christianity Today, the Southern Writers Magazine, the Breathe Conference website, the Salonpas blog, and the Suite T blog, among other places.
I’m the author of the best-selling book, Not Without God: A Story of Survival. I’m excited about my latest, Not Without God: Hope In the Storm. It is the second in my II part, Not Without God, series.
I’m an active member of writer’s groups both off and online. I used to win story contests in the second grade and excelled at spelling bees. I like to cook, bake, travel, and try new hairstyles!
With much love to you,
