Who is God?✨

I watched a great podcast yesterday. Lex Fridman interviewed Bishop Barron. It’s nice to hear about physics from a religious perspective. I really got a lot out of it. Bishop Barron says “God is the substitent act of ‘to be’ itself.” That makes perfect sense to me. God says, “I am who I am.” He is God. He doesn’t need to prove himself.

“God IS the reason there is a more contingent being at all!”

“God is not an entity; people think of God as a big being,” Bishop Barron continues to say. God is beyond being. However, I do believe he is a “being” in heaven. I believe his size spans the earth and is probably even much bigger than that. Colton Burpo, in the book, “Heaven Is For Real” says that God looks like a much bigger version of the angel, Gabrielle. I believe that Colton said he wears a yellow/golden sash. If I remember correctly.

For me, I am a believer in God and always have been. I have believed in Jesus for as long as I can remember, from a very young age, I didn’t need “proof or evidence.” I didn’t need to see him or experience him with my five senses. I feel God. I feel him there with me every day.

And he speaks to me in the silence and in nature, in love through others, in friendships, and much more. God speaks to me when I’m listening to the Bible, for example, after I’ve just put it down or listened by audio, I get the clearest messages ever.

God’s very nature is to be, again. He is holding us together. Gravity is what keeps your feet to the ground. God made gravity, which keeps our feet to the ground and also keeps planets in their orbits! The universe(s), planets, galaxies, and billions upon billions and billions of stars are all held together by God.

Real faith is believing even when it’s dark, even when you can’t see, and even when you’re taught not to believe. It’s like an author to a book. The author may not seem to be in the book, but he is the writer. HE IS THE AUTHOR AND THE FINISHER. HE IS GOD.

Furthermore, God becomes one of us. God becomes a human (Jesus). Jesus makes humanity radiant and beautiful. He is the redeemer of all reality, Bishop Barron continues. “Jesus came to pay a debt that he didn’t owe because we owed a debt we couldn’t pay,” is another way to put it. The Bible tells us: “For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all” (Romans 11:32).

The greatest physicts in the world talk about free will (some of them think it is non existent) and that everything is in a cosmic or what I like to call a “divine” order. But we have choices. The world renowned pastor and NY Times bestselling author, Greg Boyd, says that God sees every choice we can make, every route we can go. Even when we make the wrong ones he is there to pick us up.

God foresaw that we would all need him. God knew we would all fall short. God is love; God is light. God is omnipresent, and he can be everywhere at once. God is all knowing and all kind.♥️

Here is the podcast link to Bishop Barron’s interview with the popular host, Lex Fridman.

And here is the other podcast I mentioned, with Todd and Colton Burpo, from the NY Times bestselling book (and movie): Heaven Is For Real.

Cut Yourself from the Illusion of Self

How are we brought to consciousness? Why is it we are aware, more aware than animals are, for example? As humans, we are capable of more than other creatures. We can write symphonies, win the Nobel Prize, make a difference, start a non profit, have a family, and fulfill our lives to the best of our abilities.

But who is really in control? Did you ever think that there may be a higher power setting the precedent for our lives? Did you ever think of God as being the greatest computer designer that has ever lived? Yesterday I began watching this 3 hour podcast interview done by Lex Fridman. Here he is interviewing the great, Sam Harris. Sam is a world renowned neuroscientist and philosopher.

He believes that there is no such thing as free will, or that there is an illusion of free will. We feel like we are the captain of our own ships and like our decisions affect our outomes. Sometimes they do, but not all the time. At times things happen to us that we don’t choose. Things appear. We are not always happy with what we see, hear, or experience.

This is when we should take it with a grain of salt. Meaning, don’t get caught up in emotions or stuck in frustration or anger. There is an “author of our existence.” It is God. Ultimately, he is in control. You don’t know what you’re going to think next, what you are going to attend to or your next action. Everything arises and comes to you through an electrical impulse (neurons, axons, and messages from the outside environment).

“The script could already be written,” Sam Harris says. The sense of self is not an illusion. But free will he thinks is an illusion. Your existence could be compatible with an absense of free will. Sam says that “Some evil genious in the next room could be typing in code into your existence.” Lol It may feel that way when we fall short. We get upset, throw a fit, and get caught up in our feelings.

But what Sam is teaching here is very encouraging. Sam says to not get stuck in patterns of thought that are a hindrance to your well being. We are all agents, by products of the Big Bang, or Big Event, that happened 13.8 billion years ago. It’s incredibly freeing to recognize that the mind is not entirely ruled by you. Everything is under a Cosmic Order. We are under the Laws of Physics.

We have a king, Jesus, and Holy Father, God. They are the creators of our existence. We have to remember all they’ve done for us and always come back to love. Jesus died for our sins so that we may be free and live (forever) with him. “…for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body [and mind]” (1 Cor. 6:20).

Here is the amazing podcast interview. Please watch it. It is life changing!

What We are Is Eternal (consciousness)🌟

Have you ever thought about what brings about ‘consciousness?’ I mean, what is the difference between you and a baseball bat? After all, you are both just a collection of particles. Of course the bat cannot think or behave like you! The bat could never be as conscious or aware as you are. Brian Greene, world famous physicist says, ‘we are an exquisite collection of particles.’ We have a high level of information integration going on ‘in our heads,’ Brian continues. He also does not believe in the idea of free will. He says we are governed by physical law and laws of the universe; however, as humans we have a variety of ways that we can ’respond’ to the world and outside environment. So then could we say that we are ’responsible’ for anything? Yes. If you played an integral part in a course of events, than you are also an integral part of the consequences that happen.’ It’s algorithmic. So, then, should we still be responsible for our actions and punished for our transgressions, so to speak? Brian says, yes. If our punishment would benefit society as a whole and stop us from doing it again. I’m going to add the link to this video, but first I will tell you how I see it: our God is a personal one. He was punished for our transgressions when he died on the cross. He was raised again by the Laws of Physics (our Holy Father created all of it!). I believe what Brian says, that so much is ruled by the Laws of the Universe, and of course, God made us to be more exquisite than a baseball bat. He loves us unconditionally—even when we mess up. And he is always waiting for us with open arms. We are here ‘from moment to moment,’ but what we are experiencing is eternal. There is no end.✨☦️⚛️

Elon Musk on the Lex Fridman podcast #3

Today I listened to one of my favorite scientists: Elon Musk. I am a huge fan. He is doing so much (not only in terms of exploration to space), but right here on our very own planet. His effort to send a rocket ship to Mars is definitely interesting. The rocket ship will be called Starship, and it will be capable of carrying 100 people to the red planet. Here is an article about it: https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-55564448 On this podcast Lex and Elon talk about things like potential civilization on Mars, what a government would be like, currency, and how many people would possibly stay. They also talk about Elon’s driverless cars through Tesla and discussed that product in length along with his Neuralink company. Neuralink is aimed at curing diseases such as Alzheimer’s and many other brain diseases where messages from the brain to the spinal cord are damaged. They also talk about the “Tesla Bot” a concept for a sleek, 125-pound humanlike robot that will incorporate Tesla’s automotive artificial intelligence technology. It will plan and follow routes, navigate traffic—in this case, pedestrians—and avoid obstacles. It will be built for our safety. It will also do many jobs that humans don’t want to do. There could be millions of them one day! Brian Greene on Lex Fridman’s podcast, Part 1☄️

‘Life is really what you make of it,’ says Brian Greene, world renownedphysicist and New York Times bestselling author. Brian says we’re all in a position of only being aware of our own conscience being though we can only judge that others are conscience by their behavior. There is something special about us. Fish and dogs aren’t able to come up with the ideas that we are. How can it be that a particle can create consciousness? Brian says.

In my opinion, it’s God. I believe in a supreme intelligence—Holy Father (God). His size spans the entire earth and he is too big to make out visually. I’m not sure how big he is, but he’s huge! His son, Jesus, is a reflection of his love.❤️‍🩹 All loving and kind. God is full of power amd light.✨ He’s the creator of the heavens and earth! Brian Greene says that he doesn’t believe there is no God. He has said he just doesn’t know.

By the way, he keeps the largest Christmas trees in his home at Christmastime!🎄 That’s another detail he’s shared. His views are accurate. We are beings just passing through; the whole universe will be destroyed due to entropy at some point. We don’t know when that will be (probably much further down the road). But in the meantime we are to make the best of life, enjoy it, and be kind to all of humankind.❤️‍🔥🙏⚛️✨🌤

Elon Musk on Lex Fridman’s podcast. Wowie wow!🔥

Elon Musk (one of my favorite innovators) was on the Lex Fridman podcast (a world renowned and famous podcast show). He gets A LOT of listeners! I would LOVE to be on his show!

Apparently Elon thinks that one day AI (artificial intelligence) will be just as ‘smart’ as us and even difficult to discern. What I mean is one day it will be hard to tell whether you are dealing with AI or a human being.

AI safety is the goal. Right now they are making driverless cars completely driven by a computer. Elon argues that driverless cars are safer. For example, one day you may get a pizza delivered by a driverless JET’s pizza driver!

AI will be responsible for helping relieve Alzheimer’s. Or a ‘chip’ will be I should say. There will be a chip one day that will help those with Alzheimer’s remember their birthday, names of their loved ones, and other important things, etc.

‘We’ve got a monkey brain with a computer stuck in it,’ Elon says. Elon also says it should be that the ‘smart thing controls the dumb thing.’lol But the dumb thing, being us, controls the smart thing (AI).🤣😂

Neuralink (Elon’s company) will solve a lot of critical damage that has been done to the brain or spinal cord due to disease or accidents. He will solve brain related diseases even simple memory loss. At some point we may all experience it. His company has just been launched in 2016. That is not long ago!

It will improve quality of life! They will implant ’brain machine interfaces’ that will be embedded ’threads into the brain!’ It will cure TBIs and motor function issue due to spinal cord injury! Why couldn’t he have come out with this 20 years ago? I’ve had a spinal cord injury since 1994!

If you want to watch this AMAZING interview, I am still mind blown, here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smK9dgdTl40 I hope you enjoy it and learn a lot like I did!

Some things you may want to know, Part 4!

On average, EVERY single star🌟 has a planet🪐 going around it. One fifth of them have an “earth”🌍 sized planet going around it. How many galaxies✨ are there? There are about a hundred billion galaxies with a hundred billion STARS in EACH one! Do you really think we are alone? In this lifetime, we have already picked up signals.🛸

If there are alien life forms (I believe there are), there are three types. I will explain. But of course first we would want to decipher their language. So, a type one civilization is capable of harnessing planetary🪐 power. They would manage or modify the weather: earthquakes, hurricanes💨, etc. Type 2 would be stellar⭐️. They would play with stars and use the energy out put of a star like in Star Trek! Type three would be galactic: they would roam the galactic space lanes like in Star Wars!☄️

There are planets, stars, and galaxies (and we are made of the same elements that stars are🌠), and that’s it. Most of the universe is made up of dark energy. It’s the energy of ‘nothing.’ It’s a result of the “Big Bang” or Big event when God said, “Let there be light💫.” There was no “bang” because there were no air molecules; thus, there was no noise at that time. Quantum physicists don’t believe the “big event” happened only once. They believe in the multi-verse theory and that we are living in a cosmic bubble with multiple universes as a result of multiple “let there be lights💫.”

Our universe had a beginning, but there are other bubble universes out there that are expanding beyond our three dimensional comprehension. It is hyper space; it is eleven dimensional hyper space. String theorists tell us. The Big “event” is nothing but the collision of universes, according to Michio Kaku (famous world renowned physicist). String theory teaches that inside the “nucleus,” which we once thought was the tiniest particle, is a tiny heart string♥️. God created these tiny heart strings that vibrate and EVERYTHING is made up of this “heart” string. God created a symphony🎶!

Einstein didn’t believe in a personal God; he believe in a God defined as a “God of Spinoza.” God as a singular self-subsistent substance, with both matter and thought being attributes of such. He believed that God was orderly and that God is organized and not random. On a single sheet of paper we can write all the known Laws of the universe. He believed God is beautiful. We can write down Einstein’s equation (one inch long) and string theory is a lot longer, but you can write it all on one piece of paper. The PURPOSE of science✳️ is to determine how the heavens go: the purpose of religion is to figure out how to go to heaven, says Michio!

By the way, I believe in a personal God. The one who parted the Red Sea. I believe in Jesus Christ. His son. I believe in the Holy Trinity. At the same time, I believe that God is orderly, organized, beautiful and amazing. In a way, I believe Holy Father is like a “God of Spinoza.” I also believe that God is all loving and that he loves unconditionally. I don’t focus on condemnation. I believe God is omnipresent (he can be everywhere all at once!).

I believe he is awesome! I believe that “mind can’t contain” as the bible says, “what the Lord has prepared.” I also believe that if there are aliens it doesn’t mean God loves us any less. My God is big enough to love me as if I’m the only one here! You know what I mean? God’s love is not limited by how massive his universe(s) are. We are intelligent beings. God created us. We are his children. We are made to rule over creatures of the land and sea. We are brought to consciousness and may feel like we have free will.

I believe we do to some degree. Some physicists would also argue that everything is in cosmic order and that “free will” is more of an illusion. I believe that God is the greatest Chess player. He knows every way that something can go. He has a plan for even when we fail. That is the way that the famous pastor, Greg Boyd, explained it.

Robots are getting smarter and smarter. They are about as smart as a cockroach. In the coming years, they may become as smart as a cat or a dog. If they ever become as smart as monkeys they may become dangerous. Aliens from out in space can be genetically and cybernetically advanced, according to Micho Kaku! And…the “chip,” folks…will be made for Alzheimer’s patients. It will NOT be made for us. I mean, it WON’T be in the Covid 19 vaccine! Lol🤣

To learn more about these topics, I recommend you watch this video. My notes are based off this podcast I watched with Lex Fridman and Michio Kaku (world renowned physicist, professor, and author!). Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD5yc1LQrpQ

Not Without God: A Story of Survival

My book, Not Without God, is about a catastrophic accident I was in at sixteen- years-old that left me paralyzed. While trying to cross the street on my way to school, I was hit by a car. I had to be taken via ambulance to the local hospital, Botsford, but the facility didn’t have the technology or scope to save me, so they sent me to a level-one trauma hospital by helicopter. I went to Mott Children’s Hospital on the “Survival Life Flight” at the University of Michigan.

That was where I went into 12 hours of emergency surgery. The doctors were able to save my life. The Lord was working through them, of course. I had severe injuries. My spine had shifted and broken at the thoracic level (T10-11). I had a fracture in my C1 vertebrae and had to wear a neck brace for a few weeks while in the hospital. I had internal bleeding, my ribs were broken, and my tibias and fibias were shattered in both legs. I had to learn how to walk again through an extensive amount of physical therapy, thousands of hours or more.

It’s a huge miracle that I’m alive and able to walk at all. I use AFOs (an ankle-to-foot orthosis) and forearm crutches. Although I’m not walking as well as I would like, I am grateful for how far I’ve come. Some medical professionals predicted I’d never walk at all. I had to stay at the hospital for a little over three months. The nurses in the hospital thought I was happy because I was going home soon. They made sure to send me home just before my birthday, and they’d come into the room and say, “Aren’t you happy to be going home?” They had wide smiles and their eyes glowed.

What they didn’t know is I was terrified inside. I didn’t want to go back into the real world. I knew it would be difficult for my family to take care of me. I didn’t know how friends would receive me now that I was handicapped. I was the one who used to pick friends up and take them out. I was active before the accident. I was on the Multicultural & Multiracial Diversity council at school that year.

The teachers and administrators were always pleased with my wise comments.
A large assembly was to be held in our gym with all the students on the council, their parents, and the other students in the school, teachers, and principals were all going to be in the audience. Unfortunately, I never got to attend the assembly. My accident happened just before it, on Oct. 18, 1994. I was told that all the parents, teachers, and students, stood up and applauded in honor of me though when my principle made mention of me.

I was so sad I missed the assembly. I didn’t get to be in school with my friends or be there for the big day we were preparing for. However, I have learned that through life’s tragedies there will always be blessings. Light and dark are opposite, and so are pain and peace. Peace does come no matter how big the tragedy. You find your way, somehow, you may experience days of anguish. You may be suffering mentally or physically for months. God has a way of carrying away your pain. It’s often through no effort of your own.

You have to have faith for him to help. You have to look to him for guidance. He will send the right people, experiences, situations, and friends to help. Slowly you will heal. It may be a long process. You will be restored though. There will be new challenges and new setbacks, and there may even be new tragedies. God will be there every time, in your loneliness, he will comfort you, and in your sadness, he will console you.

He is a God who never sleeps. You have access to him 24 hours a day and all you have to do is call on his name. It can be a simple prayer. Just before I was hit by a car, I called out to God, “Lord, please help.” Those three words were the last thing I remember saying before I woke up on a hospital bed. I had never been hospitalized so I didn’t even know where I was. God healed me each day, little by little. When everything was unpredictable, he gave me life, he helped me walk again and live.

I had new opportunities, new blessings, and new beautiful experiences. That is just God’s way. He is one of restoration and hope.

I’m looking forward to the blessings that will come from my second book and most of all, it will be nice to reach out to more people. Tomorrow I will be featured on ESPN’s “Solutions from the Huddle” and interviewed on a podcast show. I’ll talk about my book, experiences, business, and life. I’m looking forward to it, and I hope that I can touch more lives and help more people!

‘Keeping Up With the Chaldeans’ (Not the Kardashians!) Interview

Check it out, everyone! This is my latest candid interview that I did before the stay-at-home orders (over two months ago) with my generous hosts, Anthony Toma, and Junior Binno. Here is the link to the YouTube show: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=keeping+up+with+the+chaldeans Please LIKE and subscribe! It is a MUST watch!

In case you don’t know who the Chaldeans are, they’ve been around since B.C. days and have developed a reputation for learning and knowledge of math, writing, and astronomy. Their greatest king was Nebuchadnezzar, the ruler of the Babylonian empire (from 605-562B.C.), and he was also the creator of one of the Seven Wonders of the World: The Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

Babylonia is also referred to as ‘the land of the Chaldeans’ time and time again in the Bible. We originated in southern Mesopotamia, one of the cradles of civilization (along with India, Egypt, and China). I can speak the language, although, I was born in the U.S. I’m second generation.

I talk about my book, Not Without God: A Story of Survival, and recall my accident and other events including a healing work that was performed on my left arm! There is no greater time than now to watch! This should encourage, inspire, and help. I hope you enjoy it!
