Writing Because I Can’t Not Write Group

Have you ever dreamt of having the perfect career? If so, what would it be? More than 80% of people dream about being a writer at least once in their lifetime, because there is nothing that gives you authority quite like writing a book. People who write a book are looked up to; they can be admired or deemed highly respectful. That is because writing a book takes effort, and I mean lots of effort! It may take frequent late nights, lots of phone calls, emails, and reaching out to others – if you get help with your manuscript, or go through a hybrid or traditional publisher, for example, you get a lot more help. Nonetheless, you are still in charge of marketing. However you publish, whether independently or through a book publisher, you have to market!

Having a platform is critical, and numbers do matter! The size of your platform and the size of your following is crucial. So unless you’re planning to buy followers, sadly, some do – do not expect a quick fix such as having 5,000 WordPress followers overnight. It is just not possible, building your platform is similar to working on your writing craft, it takes time… that is not to discourage you.

So, how do you get started, you may have dreamt of writing a book or admired a friend who has – but how do you begin? You can join my writers ‘group, the “Writing Because I Can’t Not Write Group – For seasoned and aspiring writers,” which has been going since 2022, and we are growing! I have featured New York Times Bestsellers, Amazon Bestsellers, USA Today Bestsellers, Entrepreneurs extremely successful in business, artists, those connected to Hollywood, and more! A wise man once claimed that “Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens another.” Maybe that’s the best reason for this group: whatever our level, we all can use some sharpening. In our writing craft, in relationships with other writers, in getting challenged. If you write at any level, or are interested in starting, this group is well worth your time in improving yourself.

Zina Hermez! Because my post must be more characters I’ll put this down as well because I don’t like spelling the word too, because I have to jump through a couple mental hoops to get there. But the participants! What a wonderful group I experienced. Thank you to Kyle Duncan, a NY Times Bestselling Ghostwriter & Publisher, for the recommendation!

When I was asked to join Writing Because I Can’t Not Write Group, I didn’t know what to expect. I quickly became involved in a series of intriguing group discussions on various writing topics that were both interesting and informative. All authors, poets, publishers, editors, etc. should attend and participate because every one of us will walk away with a little more insight into our craft. FIVE STAR interactions!
