One of Elon Musk’s latest interviews!

https://www.youtube.com/live/tMdFGrnp5XI?feature=share

If you haven’t heard of Elon Musk by now, you must be living under a rock!🪨 He is the origin of PayPal, Tesla, and Space X, to name a few, and even Open AI! He recently paid $44 billion for Twitter.

Elon speaks French as well. Some believe he’s a genius; some believe he may be an alien. I think he’s human and a genius, indeed.

This interviewer asks Elon what’s driving him. He responds, ‘Companies still have a lot to do for their missions.’ He aims to reach sustainable energy and says, “We still have a long way to go.”

Another aim of his is to make life multi-planetary, and to extend life to beyond earth. He says that there is a chance that we are the only consciousness in this galaxy; therefore, we should “stop our light from going out.”

Elon continues that we have to explore the stars to know about the Earth and make sure that the Earth is good. He’s making transportation that can take us beyond Earth.

He goes on to talk about Open AI and Chat GPT. He called for a pause to open AI because he says that AI can be a real danger if used improperly. We have to be real careful, he concluded. But the most likely outcome (for AI) is positive, he assures us.

He got asked more questions about Twitter in this interview than any other topic; nonetheless, it was still a great one. I wanted to hear more about technology overall.

However, there was a Q and A session towards the end. One questioner, a child, goes on to ask about his latest company, Neuralink. That is mainly what I was waiting to hear about.

He answered: “Neuralink is going to be a fairly slow process because it will be done in humans. You will see it coming. There will be no surprises. Hopefully later this year there will be the first human device implantation. These are for people who have lost connection from their brain to their body, and they should be able to communicate as fast as someone who has a fully functioning body.” He revealed.

He then goes on to say, “If Stephen Hawking were alive today, what a profound accomplishment would this be?”

The way the audience treated him towards the end of this video (especially during the Q and A) reminded me of how they treated Paul, the apostle, whenever he walked into the room (as noted in the Book of Acts).

When you can solve an issue that will potentially heal millions and millions, I guess you would deserve that!

Elon Musk on the Lex Fridman podcast #3

Today I listened to one of my favorite scientists: Elon Musk. I am a huge fan. He is doing so much (not only in terms of exploration to space), but right here on our very own planet. His effort to send a rocket ship to Mars is definitely interesting. The rocket ship will be called Starship, and it will be capable of carrying 100 people to the red planet. Here is an article about it: https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-55564448 On this podcast Lex and Elon talk about things like potential civilization on Mars, what a government would be like, currency, and how many people would possibly stay. They also talk about Elon’s driverless cars through Tesla and discussed that product in length along with his Neuralink company. Neuralink is aimed at curing diseases such as Alzheimer’s and many other brain diseases where messages from the brain to the spinal cord are damaged. They also talk about the “Tesla Bot” a concept for a sleek, 125-pound humanlike robot that will incorporate Tesla’s automotive artificial intelligence technology. It will plan and follow routes, navigate traffic—in this case, pedestrians—and avoid obstacles. It will be built for our safety. It will also do many jobs that humans don’t want to do. There could be millions of them one day! Elon Musk, Part 6

Neurons relay messages from the outside environment. They give information to the body. When neurons have been damaged or disrupted, the messages to the body can also be damaged or disrupted. Elon Musk has been working tirelessly for the last few years to prevent or solve this issue (that causes severe brain disease such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, for example) and other diseases as well as injury to the brain/body through car accidents, etc. His company, Neuralink, will solve an array of brain problems (diseases) through his new technology (brain chip) that will be inserted via Artificial Intelligence.

Sound like a big deal? Yea, it will be an outpatient surgery. It will last less than 2 hours! Sounds unbelievable to me! But this is a real technology that will solve many health problems in the upcoming years. Elon Musk says, If you’ve had cancer or heard disease you are likely to suffer from Alzheimer’s. Or someone close to you will. Unless we have a brain machine interface (chip), many people will continue to suffer. There is an incredible amount we can do to solve brain disorders, Musk continues. It won’t happen overnight. You will know it is coming. I believe they have even received FDA approval earlier this year and have inserted a dozen chips into the brain so far.

Neurons communicate through synapses and get input that causes an “action potential” to fire and the neuron relays messages to its own synapses. They will place “electrodes” nearby through a very tiny threading system. You see, everything comes to you through an electrical signal. We are just a brain in a vat. The vat is our skull. Everything you perceive, feel, hear and think are all action potentials, or “neurospikes” it feels very “real” but these are ALL impulses from Neurons.

Elon Musk’s Neuralink, Part 5!🧠🎉⚛️

As I’ve talked about in previous posts, Elon Musk and his Neuralink technology will be a breakthrough in medicine. He is going to restore function to so many people! It’s so exciting to see. Clinical trials have not yet begun but earlier this year the company received full FDA approval! Again, I am so excited for what the future holds for so many with brain injuries/diseases thanks to Elon Musk! I am going to attach the video. This is very interesting and a MUST WATCH! While watching I learned that the surgery will be done as outpatient and completed within a matter of one to two hours! Anesthesia will not even be required! You’ll also see pigs that have gotten the brain chip and then had it removed, safely. This is incredible. I can’t wait to learn more about Elon’s exciting new piece of technology that will help so many!❤️‍🔥❤️♥️

Elon Musk, Part 4🧠✨☄️🔥

Elon was on Lex Fridman’s podcast not too long ago, and I wanted to share some of the amazing advancements he is making. I am fascinated by his company, Neuralink. This is a new company that will solve problems such as brain disease.

I mean, how many people in the world have brain related diseases? Everything from Alzheimer’s to brain injuries from accidents to anyone who suffers from any disease (paralysis effected by strokes) anything that affects the brain, even genetic diseases, will be cured. We are looking at least 5 to 10 years out, in my opinion maybe even twenty, before this technology becomes available–but they are already discussing trials!

There will be a ‘robotic sewing machine’ that will insert these “threads” into the brain. Omg, limb function will be restored and even organ functions that have been damaged. You see the brain controls everything. This makes perfect sense. When the messages from the brain to the spinal cord/other parts of the body are corrupted–all kinds of stuff can enter: infection, inflammation, dead muscle, memory loss, damaged nerves, etc.

They want to “trigger” a neuron and see what the response is in the brain. We know our body is full of electrical signals. Everything you see and experience is basically an electrical signal. The human (brain) cortex is constantly trying to make the body (lymbic system) happy. It is the foundation of “human intelligence.” When messages get damaged from the brain to the body it causes a number of issues. Neuralink will restore people’s motor control!!!

This technology is especially important to me because I have a spinal cord injury, and I’ve had one ever since I was a teenager. I know how wonderful this technology is going to be for so many. It will alleviate suffering and one day brain disease or injuries to the brain/body due to accidents will be comparable to catching the common cold. They will be healed through this technology. Quality of life will be better.

They will insert a tiny electrode that will last as long as a person that won’t damage neurons. A number of engineering disciplines are going to be involved. The electrode is what will send the signals. This won’t be done by a neurosurgeon. It will have to be like LASIK surgery. It will have to be done by a robot (or AI). But the surgeons will be there.

If this concerns you just keep in mind that everything comes to you through an electrical signal. EVERYTHING. Everything you see, taste, feel, and experience comes to you through it. Neurons (also called neurones or nerve cells) are the fundamental units of the brain and nervous system.

They are the cells responsible for receiving sensory input from the external world, for sending motor commands to our muscles, and for transforming and relaying the electrical signals at every step in between. “We will not fail to be smarter than a digital super computer.” ~Elon Musk♥️

Elon Musk, Part 3🧠⚕️🤖

Today I thought I’d write again on Elon Musk and Neuralink because ever since I learned about it I am just fascinated. Not only is Musk interested in resolving sustainable energy, but he works at that tirelessly. And his awesome Neuralink Corporation is a neurotechnology company developing implantable brain–machine interfaces founded by him and others.

The company’s headquarters are in San Francisco sharing offices with OpenAI. Neuralink was recently launched in 2016 and first publicly reported in March 2017. It had received $158 million in funding (of which $100 million was from ‘Musk,’ or ELON MUSK himself). It was employing a staff of 90 people including the top neuroscientists in the world!🌍

At that time, Neuralink announced that it was working on a “sewing machine-like” device capable of implanting very thin threads into the brain, and demonstrated a system that read information from a lab rat via 1,500 electrodes. They had anticipated starting experiments with humans in 2020; but have since moved that projection to 2021. Musk says he will initiate human trials by the end of this year.

There is a very low potential for rejection and the implant is not more serious than receiving a heart monitor or hip replacement, for example. There actually are people who have primitive devices in their brains now. People with deep brain stimulation with Parkinson’s Disease, for example, already have a ‘chip.’ So it is already happening on some level, and it has improved their lives!

Not only is Elon getting rockets to the moon through Space X; he’s also the CEO of Telsa. He says that a Tesla is the most fun thing anyone could ever have!😄 But back to Neuralink. The main purpose of it is to cure or atleast make the quality of life better for people with brain injuries or disease that is caused by the brain.

Diseases like Alzheimer’s, Epilepsy, and a number of others will be cured. Injuries like Spinal cord injuries will be healed and having a spinal injury one day will be comparable to catching the common cold. It will be curable.👏

The threads will be implanted into the skull and become flush with the skull. So no one will know. It will more than likely be AI who inserts the threads (because they never mess up!)🤖 And you wouldn’t even know that someone has had it done.

It could return eyesight and restore memory and solve hearing issues. It could alleviate the effects of almost anything that is WRONG with the brain. It could restore limb function (back to curing the spinal cord)!

Believe it! With God ALL things are possible. The greatest physicists in the world even say that in an “eternal universe anything can happen.” This universe is eternal. It is comprised of rebirth after rebirth and it never ends.

We are living in a cosmic bubble bath of universe(s), or ‘Big events,’ actually. I refuse to say ’Big Bang’ because when a universe is born there is no noise or bang. In the beginning God said, ’Let there be light.’ There was light!✨

In this cosmic bubble bath comprised of more than 100,000,000 galaxies (or star systems) that we know of so far, why wouldn’t God create a Neuralink? Why wouldn’t God create an Elon Musk? Yes. People. And it doesn’t have to be the “chip” that comprises the “end of the world” that many of you falsely believe we are heading towards.

It is only around 2,000 AD. We are not even close! Open your mind. There will be the year 5,000, 10,000, and 20,0000 AD, maybe even 500,000, etc. This is not even the beginning. Michio Kaku, a world renowned physicist says that weddings will take place on the moon🌛 in 5,000,000 years!

We are a new planet. Think Star Wars. You never know with all this space exploration. Elon also says the end goal is to travel from planet to planet–think space civilization!🪐🌏✨🌙⚕️🤖🌏🌟
