I am sure one of your friends would come in to help! This is what your product is like when no one knows about it: a sinking sailboat.
The power of marketing, especially when groups collaborate, is strong. It’s a way for friends to lift one another up, to help stop the ‘out-of-control sailboat that is sinking.’ Affiliates act as advocates for their friends or business associates, lifting one another up in the process.
They’re not just dropping links; they’re guiding their communities, holding events, rooting for you, buying your book, recommending your business – it is truly powerful.
A trusted recommendation from someone you follow online can lead you to join a cause, sign up for a course, or try a new way of thinking — it’s about more than buying a product. In today’s day and age, especially if you are an author, it is critical.
Entrepreneurs, artists, and anyone in business all need a platform. A platform can consist of someone who is in your audience or even a potential buyer, for example. Your platform is what makes you stand out. Size matters.

I am VERY EXCITED to ANNOUNCE that we will be featuring Coach Mark Prasek of PJNET.TV on Feb.16, 2024, at 7:30 pm EST with Author Ben Cooper at our Zoom meeting for the Writing Because I Can’t Not Write Group.
Mark Prasek is the founder and host of PJNET.tv – an online video ministry providing a platform for everyday Christians to share their walk with Christ. Since 2018, almost 500 different guests have appeared on the program. Mark is also an accomplished creator of 3D animated videos in partnership with Christian authors to promote their ministry.
Ben Cooper is an author, speaker, educator, and beekeeper. He grew up on a family farm in western Pennsylvania and went on to get an Agricultural Science degree from Penn State University. Ben retired after working as an Agricultural Specialist for the State of Maryland.
Ben and his wife live in southern Pennsylvania where they homeschooled and raised their five children. He is the author of All Nature Sings: A Devotional Guide to Animals in the Bible, and the children’s picture book series that include Created Critters with Wings and Created Critters with Fur.
He is also a contributing author for All God’s Creatures, an annual devotional from Guideposts.
First, Ben will give us a presentation on Five Steps to Landing Book Endorsements, and after that we will get to hear from Mark! He will explain his TV program on PJENT.TV and his many other programs! Mark will give us a “crash course” on a class he taught at The Well conference here in MI!
He is also willing to meet with anyone after the meeting one to one for further questions!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting some special friends for breakfast🍳. Jim Tuman, his wife, Jan, and my longtime friend, Ginger, and I met for breakfast at a local resteraunt.
Jim Tuman is a sociologist, educator, and has been a radio and TV personality who has spoken to millions of people in more than 1,500 schools nationwide.
He has asked kids to examine their motives, goals, feelings, and wants them to make meaningful decisions about their futures. He has helped prevent teen suicide across the country.
Jim wants to create school environments where students and teachers feel ‘safe, valued, and loved,’ he says. Here is a PBS documentary that was done on Jim it is very moving! People are in tears over Jim’s unique compassion!
I’ve been back from the “Living Legends of Entrepreneurial Marketing” for nearly a week, and I can’t stop thinking about it! I want to go back! As a matter of fact, this time last week I was sitting on a boat, the beautiful “Bateaux,” it was a gorgeous night, and I got to see the New York skyline!🌇

And what a view it was, I got to see celebrities like Ice-T and his wife, Coco, Martha Stewart, Dylan Howard (the Chief content officer of American media, who shared exclusive stories about Charlie Sheen!), Hal Elrod (author of 2 million copies sold), Micheal Gerber (of the E-myth, multiple #1 New York Times best-seller), Alex Mandossian, Steve Larsen (#1 funnel hacker for ClickFunnels, and part of the two-comma club—an elite group of online entrepreneurs that have reached one million dollars, or ‘two commas’).🤑😆
I can’t leave out Jerry Greenfield (of Ben & Jerry’s🍧) who even served me ice cream, and told the story of how him and Ben split the money for a $5 course! He said their ice cream was becoming a hit, but Haagen Dazs was bigger, so Pillsbury stopped selling Ben & Jerry’s on their trucks! That was illegal, so they started a campaign called, “What is the dough boy afraid of?” 😂 And they put a stop to it!

I’ll admit going on this trip was not easy for me; my dad has had a significant amount of Alzheimer’s, and it is worsening. I distribute his medicine daily, and do the same for my mom, too. I had to schedule for caregivers and call substitutes to teach my courses.
BUT, it was SO worth it!!! I loved every minute!!!
Below I am with Michael Gerber of the E-Myth, published in 1992, millions of copies have been sold! He says that he didn’t do everything that happened to him, he says “it did it!”😄 And Rick Warren “built his church” on Gerber (not on the Bible). lol Rick Warren, best-selling author of The Purpose Driven Life (the most popular book next to the Bible!).
Michael Gerber has been Rick’s mentor and credits Rick and says, “He is a Living Legend!”❤️💚🧡

Below was on the second day after I arrived. It was beautiful and sunny with a crisp wind, and I didn’t know what to expect. I knew I would be exposed to some ‘elite’ people! Tim, the second from the left is from Michigan, also, so we talked about that a little bit, and it was a good icebreaker! Linda and I hit it off, with her being a caregiver (like I am), and having a daughter with some challenges.
By the way, the food at the Red Eye Grill was pure deliciousness!🍹🥗🥖
Clint gave out ‘Film Fest awards’ and there were actors and writers, adding a little more Hollywood!🎬
These people were so honored! ✨🎤
I also posted Clint’s live webinar on my social media a few times! It was a post-Carnegie Hall one where he gave me a special shout-out and pointed to my blog!❤️ He says I am AWESOME & QUALIFIED! I’m still smiling!😄
He used my article as a model and said it is ‘wonderful.’❤️🎈
