God Will Fight For You!❤️

God will fight for you. Just be still. You don’t have to do too much. Seek after Him. Allow him to lead and guide you. Ask God to help. He will be your guide. He will not forsake you. He will not abandon you. God will be there. You’ll get messages. Strong feelings. Thoughts. When you seek after God. You will be sure. You will know what to do. You will not doubt. God will keep and sustain you. He will bless you forever and ever.♥️

Be Originally You

All my life I’ve had to fight. I’ve been told I’m too independent, and too strong. I’ve heard, “don’t you need help?” And how can I live, “by myself.” What people don’t understand is you do your best to compensate when you’ve lost so much. Strength is my survival skill. I wouldn’t give it back for the world! I DON’T KNOW HOW TO GIVE UP.

From a young age, I had to be tough. I had to make my own decisions. Our life experiences shape us into who we become. I can’t alter or change myself to appease others. We tend to shun what we don’t understand. I can’t feel guilty for being me. We’re all different. I march to the beat of my own drum. In a culture like this one, I am not the norm. Thanks for listening to my rant!

I did not know for sure I would become a writer. Though I had a feeling I would write a book. Watching it come to fruition has been fabulous. There is so much more I want to write. Writing about yourself can be closely monitored. There’s something about telling your own story. It’s different from writing a fiction book where you can hide behind characters.

As a child, I knew my path would not be easy. God assured me I would make it through. He communicated that to me in feelings and in thoughts. God doesn’t need words to communicate with us. We can hear from him, if we only try. ~Zina Hermez

When times are tough…

At times I find myself waiting for the “fight” to end forgetting that I have been fighting all my life. Setbacks, an accident, or just plain opposition have all made me fight. I think it’s naïve to think that the hard times will end. Yes, things can change for the better and when they do it is wonderful!

Things sometimes change for the worse. This is when I must realize that the fighting never ends. I don’t mean to fight as in a physical one, but in a spiritual, mental, or emotional battle. Still God bestows His blessings upon us. It seems that the more we are blessed the more we have to fight sometimes.

Everyone has to live with adversity in their life. It feels good to let this out because I can see that struggles are something we all encounter. I can do my best to remember that even though there are difficulties the outcome depends on how I respond—by never quitting, and never giving up hope for the better I have already won.

Fear or Faith?

“Life sometimes happens whether we are prepared or not. I had one hope: my faith.” ~Zina Hermez

When you read this quote, what does it mean to you? Could you paraphrase this expression, or interpret it if I asked you to? It’s pretty self-explanatory. Faith means so much. Faith is what brought me through after my accident in October of 1994. This month will mark 20 years, and I don’t think I would be writing to you today if I did not have faith!

Have you ever had to search within your soul and pull out that faith? Did faith come easy for you? Was your survival dependent upon having faith? If you had a choice between “fight and flight,” which would you choose? I chose to fight, and I’m so glad I did because if I didn’t I would not be where I am today.

You may need a big miracle in your life, and it may be completely different from my own. But it’s something that requires a lot of faith. God wants to stretch your faith! Faith makes all things possible. Miracles don’t usually happen overnight. Not that they can’t. But sometimes your faith needs to grow.
