Work For the LordšŸ™āœØ

What we fail to understand is that everything we do we do unto the Lord. Sometimes we do wrong. Thank God we have an unconditionally loving father who forgives us.ā™„ļø When we work we work for the Lord. When we wake up it’s for the Lord. When we sleep, when we love…it’s all for the Lord. Commit your plans…acknowledge the Lord. He will establish you and your plans. The greatest physicists in the world tell us we are under a ā€˜cosmic’ order. A divine plan. You are not your own. You may think you’re in control. But God is the captain of your ship. Trust in him. He is All loving. All kind. And provides life everlasting.

Colossians 3:23-24
New International Version
23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

God has a way of working things out!

It’s true. He is a God of mystery. A God of favor. A God who makes the unthinkable come true. Just when you believe that things won’t change and life will forever be the same. Remember, God is one of change not routine. We tend to like routine because we know what to expect. But when you step out of your comfort zone, enact a little more faith, and believe, miracles happen!✨ God does not want you to be stagnant. He wants you to make your dreams happen!ā˜ļøšŸŒ¤šŸ’–

Going out!

This was my attempt at going out the other night and putting on a little make-up! Yes, I emphasize ā€˜little’ because I’ve never liked wearing make-up with a mask on my face! Although masks are not required as much as they were before, I have not been vaccinated and don’t want to take any chances! Life has changed. While I’ve pretty much gotten used to this ā€˜new normal,’ I realize how frail life is and want to stay as healthy as I can. Tomorrow’s agenda: doctor’s appointment and teaching students online! I’ve been so busy with work.

God’s Love Is UnconditionalšŸ’•

I feel a direct connection to the Lord. I’m able to discern his voice. When I talk to him, ask, pray, make requests, and spend time, I feel better. I love to be in his presence. Having a relationship with him is like exercising a muscle, the more you strengthen it, the stronger it gets.

When you practice having that relationship, you will feel closer. The bible says, ā€˜I am the Lord who continuously heals you.’ That means healing is not a one-time thing or event. The Lord ‘continuously’ heals us.

God continues to heal me in various ways. He renews me every morning and gives me strength. God’s given me the right doctors and medicine. God created medicine along with science.šŸŽ†

He speaks to us and helps us through these medical professionals. I mean, it’s fair to get a second opinion when you don’t agree with your doctor, but if you keep getting more opinions, you may be skeptical.Ā

He is our hero. He truly is our friend. You never know how your life will turn out. I never expected to grow up with a physical challenge, but I am blessed to have the Lord, and I know he will never leave no matter what.

The more profound the sorrow, the greater the joy! I am not asking you to rejoice in suffering; I am asking you to rejoice in the one who stands before you. He will not leave unless you ask him to, and even then, he will be standing in your corner, guarding, leading, and guiding you.

I don’t have any secrets on how to overcome. I am not different from anyone. Jesus heals me every time. When love is not true, it fades. God’s love never fades. He’s always there. It is us who leave and turn away.

He cannot. Because God is love, and that is what he does. He comes in when everyone else has gone out. He comes in when your life is too much to bear. Love cannot fail and endures all things. It gives freely of itself. It will provide even when you are not winning.

When God comes in to rescue you, it will be the greatest gift ever.

Lean on God. Your happiness will not be short-lived or temporal. I’ve tried to control situations in my life because I think I know what is best. I have an image in my mind of how my life should be. But God wants me to put my faith in Him.

Glorify God through your Job

But you have to be patient, just like you have to be patient at your job. You have to be patient with God. Don’t complain. I already wrote about how you can compare patience to work. You don’t complain at work. Then don’t complain a lot.

Imagine if you treated God the way you treat your director. You won’t get promoted at work if all you do is complain, right? God wants you to get promoted. I mean, I take that back; you can complain to God, of course. But people who complain a lot don’t typically get anywhere.

Be grateful!
