I trust you, God!

Dear Lord, I trust you when Iโ€™m uncertain of whatโ€™s going on. I trust you when things โ€˜donโ€™t look good.โ€™ I know that with you things are never as they seem. Every end has a new beginning and every tragedy has a multitude of blessings associated with it. Not that I am happy with disappointment or adversity, but I have learned to be content in all situations. Or I should say I am learning. God, your love is enough indeed. Often Iโ€™m reaching for โ€˜more.โ€™ Iโ€™m not sure what โ€˜moreโ€™ is because you are everything. You formed me โ€˜in my mother’s wombโ€™ you always knew me! You have always been with me and will never leave my side from now and for eternity. Thank you! You are a God that is true and loves me.โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’™

Worship In Uncertainty

We should worship all the time. As a matter of fact, it is in difficult times we should worship the most! What does โ€˜worshipโ€™ mean? Pray. Meditate. THANK GOD. It doesn’t have to be extravagant. What I mean is you don’t have to pray โ€˜hardโ€™ or for hours at a time! Take a few minutes to thank him in the morning, spend some time in the silence, light a candle, or converse with him at night. Try to hear his voice. How about your intuition? What is it saying? I get strong intuitive feelings in difficult times. Are you receiving guidance? Do you feel a sense of reassurance and love? God is always there and doesn’t leave. His power cannot be any greater. He is working for us especially in adversity.โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™โ™ฅ๏ธ

Southern Style Pies๐ŸŒถ๐Ÿง€๐ŸฅŸ

I did it again. One of my most favorite things to do ever since I was a child until now is to cook and enjoy with family and friends. Basically, I love the feeling of creating something delicious and positive feedback is always nice. Yesterday, I made good olโ€™ meat pies. But these are not just any meat pies. They are Food Network pies. They are โ€˜Ree Drummondโ€™s meat pies.โ€™ Meat pies with a southern twist. I also made pies with cheese and used candied walnuts. Take a look at the pics!

By the time I was done I had about 45-50 pies! It took all day and I wiped down tables, washed dishes, and mopped more than once! Here are pics of some of the pre-fillings I made.

In case you’re interested you can find the recipe here:

https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ree-drummond/meat-pies-3591684.amp

The meat pies had a hint of spice because of the red pepper flakes and chili powder. They are so good.๐Ÿ˜‹

Be still (does not mean do nothing)!

This is one of the best things we can do. However, people often take this quote to mean they should do nothing. Being still does not mean we are to do nothing. It means you have to listen to his voice, and actively seek after him along with his direction. How do you find Godโ€™s voice? It typically comes from your intuition. Something you feel strongly about may be prompted by him. Anything good, true, whole, pure, or right comes from the Father of Lights.โœจ He wants whatโ€™s best. You can also hear him better in the silence, during meditation, at church, or when youโ€™re surrounded by loved ones. God speaks to us through them too because his presence is in all of us. But you have to be able to discern. God will help you discern if you ask him to. Donโ€™t just do what someone told you to do. Do what God would have you to do. There is a difference. Sometimes we make mistakes. We are not โ€˜still.โ€™ We worry or fret. We donโ€™t seek his wise counsel. God forgives us for those times too. He knows weโ€™re human. We fall into error. Nonetheless, he doesnโ€™t love us any less. Some people โ€˜start their dayโ€™ with God by saying prayers. Some like to talk with him at night when itโ€™s quiet. Everyone has their way of reaching out. The beautiful thing is we have access to him twenty-four hours a day. Heโ€™s always there to pick us back up when we fall.

โ€˜A new earthโ€™๐ŸŒ

Last night I was thinking about the famous Bible passage by John in the Book of Revelation. In Johnโ€™s vision, he saw a new heaven (the city of Jerusalem coming down from the sky), and he also saw a new earth! ๐ŸŒโ™ฅ๏ธ As I was thinking more about it, I thought back to Lex Fridmanโ€™s podcast I recently heard with the famous world renowned physicist, Michio Kaku. EVERY star๐ŸŒŸ has a planet๐Ÿช going around it. ONE in FIVE of those planets ARE EARTH๐ŸŒ sized planets! There are billions of galaxies besides ours, 100,000,000,000 with 100,000,000,000 starsโœจ๐ŸŒ  in each one! So, if there are billions of โ€˜earth sized planetsโ€™ and in the book of Revelation John sees โ€˜a new earthโ€™๐ŸŒ, THEN who is to say there arenโ€™t other โ€˜earthsโ€™ out there (with people in them?). I mean, maybe itโ€™s not necessarily extraterrestrial life weโ€™re searching after. Maybe we are searching for copies of ourselves. I would also imagine that if there are other earths ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ out there with other humans๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿฆณ their planet would be more advanced. We are just on the cusp of a Type 1, and not quite able to modify natural disasters such as hurricanes yet. But once we harness more planetary power and stop getting our energy from dead plants, coal, and oil, climate change wonโ€™t be a problem and the effects of natural disaster will be lessened. You see, we are a young planet. For the end timers out there: the end is no where near, it is only the beginning!

Some things you may want to know, Part 6

According to physics, you are a โ€˜particle.โ€™ As a matter of fact, you are nothing more than โ€˜a bag of particles.โ€™ -Brian Greene Better yet, you are comparable to an electron that gives off light.โœจ Keep in mind though, the electron can also be a wave. Actually, you are a waveโ€”the entire universe is a wave!๐ŸŒŠ This will be difficult to understand if you donโ€™t know much about Quantum mechanics and how everything is broken down into its tiniest parts. But think outside of the box for a moment. It seems you are living in a three-D dimensional world, but now the greatest physicists in the world ๐ŸŒ believe it may be a 2 D dimensional surface with the appearance of a 3 D world. That would mean you are more of a hologram than you realize. Think about it, can you see your natural face without looking into a mirror or by viewing a photo? Well, donโ€™t get all caught up in the fact that you may be a hologram. Just Google search the Holographic Principle if youโ€™re really interested. God is the coolest computer designer that has ever existed. But back to the electron for a moment, it can be a point or wave depending upon how you look at it. The electron can pop up into different parts of a wave. You as an โ€˜electronโ€™ can go many different routes, make many different choices, and there is more than one possibility for you. God knows and sees all. He even foresees the route you will take when you fail. After it, he is there to pick you back up and fix your mistake. His love is unconditional,โค๏ธ He is all-knowing. Omnipresent. And magnificent!โœจโœจ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿช๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ˜€

Labor Day!๐ŸŒƒ

It was a nice night for a walk. I’ve surpassed my goals and have been able to walk thousands of feet at a time. It feels fulfilling. I’m not so much obsessed with setting records for myself all the time anymore. I’m more just obsessed with getting in exercise. It feels great to walk and think at one of my favorite spots: church. This was after I went on a little shopping spree, and thatโ€™s another thing I occasionally enjoy. I could spend more time buying furnishings and other stuff, but the more time I spend the more money I spend. So I have to limit myself. Itโ€™s been a good night.๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘โ›ช๐Ÿ›๐Ÿ™

If it’s meant to be, it will happen๐Ÿ’•

This is true. The greatest physicists have debated whether or not free will exists. I believe it does to some extent. But maybe not as much as we think it does. Everything is in cosmic order. I believe we are moving here through our imagination, but God ordains certain things to happen and certain people to be sent. Through our choices, we bring our destiny to fruition. That is why I do believe we have free will because there are choices we can make and different routes we can take. However, we canโ€™t control everything. We canโ€™t control when there is a hurricane, for example. We canโ€™t control the way certain things turn out. However, we can be coworkers with God to make the best out of life and to make the right decisions. He gives us that ability, even if our choices are predetermined, it feels like they arenโ€™t. We just have to trust that God is always in the driver’s seat and even when we fail or suffer loss, he has a plan. โ€œFor our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all (2 Cor. 4:17).โœจ๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ™

Some things you may want to know, Part 5!

In the next one hundred years things will change. Jobs of the future will change. Five hundred years from now there may even be time travel. Teleportation! We NOW can see actual thoughts as they are generated inside the living brain through an MRI, and it is a wonderful advancement.

We can even “upload” memories. Next, it will be in Alzheimer’s patients. There will be a brain “memory” chip. A patient will push the chip and remember their address, where they are, the names of relatives, etc. One day, we may even have something like “The Matrix.” Have you ever felt like life may be an illusion? I know I have. According to Michio Kaku, world famous physicist, this is perfectly normal.

The great physicists have questioned that life is an illusion before, or that time is an illusion for that matter. It is because there is no difference between past, present, and future in space time. The future has already happened. We just don’t know it. Why do you think there is a competition by the world’s richest billionaires to go to space? They dream and hope for us to even “colonize” there. Michio, again, says that idea is not far fetched. We will be long gone by the time it happens, though.

For example, weddings may even happen on the moon. Can you imagine? It is a three day trip. Elon Musk is now creating his own moon rockets through his billion dollar enterprise, SpaceX. Elon is one of the richest men in the world! If not THE richest. Jeff Bezos, through his Blue Origin company, just made a trip to space recently! He is the founder of Amazon and former CEO.

You may ask why? Why bother to leave the earth anyway? We are defenseless against meteor impacts. We are defenseless at times due to mother nature. Take a look at the recent hurricanes. Lives lost in New York, flooding, etc. You see, Michio says, the dinosaurs did not have a space program 65,000,000 plus years ago when they became extinct. That is why they are not here today. Lol

75,000 years ago there was a cataclysmic event called the โ€˜Toba volcanoโ€™ event that lasted ten long years! Humans almost became extinct. Weโ€™ve been around a long time. Itโ€™s why weโ€™re developing outer space programs, again, says Michio.:-)

Apparently, there are three types of alien life that potentially exist (I believe they do); they are different types of “life” who occupy planets or get their energy from stars. I believe we are a โ€˜young planet,โ€™ again, and physics has confirmed it. If we werenโ€™t, weโ€™d be a Type 1. We would modify the weather: hurricanes, and earthquakes. Whatโ€™s happening now–the flooding wouldnโ€™t be a problem.

While watching this special I am referring to with Michio Kaku, I also learned: Type 2 would be stellar or use/work around the power of the stars like in Star Trek. Type three would be Galactic. They would be a Star Wars type and travel from planet to planet. Again, I think they’re out there. As a matter of fact, I know they are because I’ve had a dream/vision. Well, I should call it a “visit.” I’ve had a visit. I won’t get into it too much, but I will write about it in a later post. I have already written on it a few times.

Many Christians believe we are living in the “end times.” In my opinion, they often misinterpret the Book of Revelations, especially with their whole “Rapture” idea. One person will be taken; one person will be left. It sounds bizarre in my opinion. I am a Christian, but I tend to be more progressive in my thinking. As one of my favorite authors/pastors put it: “We pray for heaven to come down on EARTH.” We won’t be taken up in the “sky.” It will happen here. That is why we have to take care of our planet and animal kingdom.

We are lacking in this area. I am going to attach the video of Greg Boyd, he’s a New York Times Best selling author, here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoWHzuYF798

I hope you enjoy it! It explains why the Rapture is a bad idea and how to accurately interpret some of those confusing passage in scripture.

Lastly, I want to add that one of my favorite physicists, Briane Greene, says the world won’t end for a long time. There have always been hurricanes and wars. There have even been PANDEMICS; even though it’s been a while. But it doesn’t mean it is the end. Brian has said that the universe will probably be destroyed once entropy has it’s way. The universe may keep expanding and the expansion may be too much, or the sun may even swallow the earth up in five billion years or so.

Brian admits it can happen sooner. God can do anything. We don’t know when the world will end. We can just do our best to enjoy every day and take life as it comes. We can try to overcome pain and do our best to be happy!

God knows your pain๐Ÿ’”

God understands, and he loves us. He knows your pain better than anyone. Jesus was betrayed and even killed. He knows more than anyone how painful it can be when others hurt, disappoint, or turn on us. The Good news of the Gospel: he rose again. On the third day, he resurrected! This means ALL the pain, hurt, abandonment, and even rejection youโ€™ve felt will be null one day. It will be nothing. He will replace it with peace, happiness, and love!๐Ÿ’–

Some things you may want to know, Part 4!

On average, EVERY single star๐ŸŒŸ has a planet๐Ÿช going around it. One fifth of them have an “earth”๐ŸŒ sized planet going around it. How many galaxiesโœจ are there? There are about a hundred billion galaxies with a hundred billion STARS in EACH one! Do you really think we are alone? In this lifetime, we have already picked up signals.๐Ÿ›ธ

If there are alien life forms (I believe there are), there are three types. I will explain. But of course first we would want to decipher their language. So, a type one civilization is capable of harnessing planetary๐Ÿช power. They would manage or modify the weather: earthquakes, hurricanes๐Ÿ’จ, etc. Type 2 would be stellarโญ๏ธ. They would play with stars and use the energy out put of a star like in Star Trek! Type three would be galactic: they would roam the galactic space lanes like in Star Wars!โ˜„๏ธ

There are planets, stars, and galaxies (and we are made of the same elements that stars are๐ŸŒ ), and that’s it. Most of the universe is made up of dark energy. It’s the energy of ‘nothing.’ It’s a result of the “Big Bang” or Big event when God said, “Let there be light๐Ÿ’ซ.” There was no “bang” because there were no air molecules; thus, there was no noise at that time. Quantum physicists don’t believe the “big event” happened only once. They believe in the multi-verse theory and that we are living in a cosmic bubble with multiple universes as a result of multiple “let there be lights๐Ÿ’ซ.”

Our universe had a beginning, but there are other bubble universes out there that are expanding beyond our three dimensional comprehension. It is hyper space; it is eleven dimensional hyper space. String theorists tell us. The Big “event” is nothing but the collision of universes, according to Michio Kaku (famous world renowned physicist). String theory teaches that inside the “nucleus,” which we once thought was the tiniest particle, is a tiny heart stringโ™ฅ๏ธ. God created these tiny heart strings that vibrate and EVERYTHING is made up of this “heart” string. God created a symphony๐ŸŽถ!

Einstein didn’t believe in a personal God; he believe in a God defined as a “God of Spinoza.” God as a singular self-subsistent substance, with both matter and thought being attributes of such. He believed that God was orderly and that God is organized and not random. On a single sheet of paper we can write all the known Laws of the universe. He believed God is beautiful. We can write down Einstein’s equation (one inch long) and string theory is a lot longer, but you can write it all on one piece of paper. The PURPOSE of scienceโœณ๏ธ is to determine how the heavens go: the purpose of religion is to figure out how to go to heaven, says Michio!

By the way, I believe in a personal God. The one who parted the Red Sea. I believe in Jesus Christ. His son. I believe in the Holy Trinity. At the same time, I believe that God is orderly, organized, beautiful and amazing. In a way, I believe Holy Father is like a “God of Spinoza.” I also believe that God is all loving and that he loves unconditionally. I don’t focus on condemnation. I believe God is omnipresent (he can be everywhere all at once!).

I believe he is awesome! I believe that “mind can’t contain” as the bible says, “what the Lord has prepared.” I also believe that if there are aliens it doesn’t mean God loves us any less. My God is big enough to love me as if I’m the only one here! You know what I mean? God’s love is not limited by how massive his universe(s) are. We are intelligent beings. God created us. We are his children. We are made to rule over creatures of the land and sea. We are brought to consciousness and may feel like we have free will.

I believe we do to some degree. Some physicists would also argue that everything is in cosmic order and that “free will” is more of an illusion. I believe that God is the greatest Chess player. He knows every way that something can go. He has a plan for even when we fail. That is the way that the famous pastor, Greg Boyd, explained it.

Robots are getting smarter and smarter. They are about as smart as a cockroach. In the coming years, they may become as smart as a cat or a dog. If they ever become as smart as monkeys they may become dangerous. Aliens from out in space can be genetically and cybernetically advanced, according to Micho Kaku! And…the “chip,” folks…will be made for Alzheimer’s patients. It will NOT be made for us. I mean, it WON’T be in the Covid 19 vaccine! Lol๐Ÿคฃ

To learn more about these topics, I recommend you watch this video. My notes are based off this podcast I watched with Lex Fridman and Michio Kaku (world renowned physicist, professor, and author!). Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD5yc1LQrpQ

We have to do our best!

Some people would like a clear map of where their life is going. But life can be unpredictable. That’s why we have to trust in God. We can work to make our dreams happen. God wants that. We can be โ€˜co workersโ€™ with God to make our goals come alive so long as we do our part. What I mean is nothing will just happen if we don’t provide action. We have to plan and work hard. We have to โ€˜do our bestโ€™ and let God handle the rest. Doing our best can mean a lot. It can require hard work and sacrifice. This quote doesn’t say to only do half, nor does it say to only do your part. It says to โ€˜do your best.โ€™ Are you doing your best in all areas? Are you falling short in some parts? Let’s reflect on this. How can we do our best for ourselves and those around us?

Lord, thank you for being you!โ™ฅ๏ธ

Dear Lord, I am far from perfect and have failed you. I’ve failed numerous times. I’ve failed at not being angry. I’ve failed at times by not being outraged. I know I have imperfections, and that is only to name a few. I’m grateful that you’re a God who always takes me back and loves me no matter what. I would have no ticket to heaven if it weren’t for you. Thank you for not only being loving but for being cross-like love! God, your love is unconditional! Your omnipresence is magnificent! I canโ€™t even fathom all the good you possess! But thank you for being my God. Thank you for being my love!โ™ฅ๏ธ

God Is a Problem-Solver๐Ÿ’ž

One thing I love about God is he is just a call away. All you have to do is say his name. He’ll come running to you. It’s instantaneous. You don’t have to wait. You don’t have to wonder if he’s there. The Lord has left us an โ€˜advocate.โ€™ The Holy Spirit to help us and be with us forever. That means you are never alone. That means you have divine power. This power will lift you up, help you make decisions, and overcome. One thing we don’t realize enough is that God is a personal one. He’s a helper and a friend. He’s a problem solver. He is unconventional! He is not old fashioned. He is not just some old guy with a beard sitting up in the sky. If you ask for him to lead and guide, he will. There will be no doubt or shadow of turning.

God will be thereโ™ฅ๏ธ

When you go through deep waters, God will be with you. You cannot separate yourself from him even if you try. You are โ€˜entangledโ€™ with Christ. Whatever you go through, he goes through whether or not you realize it. He feels our pain; he is comfort and helps in time of trouble. Now that doesnโ€™t mean the universe will conform to you. What I mean is, there is heartbreak and loss. Even when he is there, we deal with pain. Part of the promise is that he will bring you through. You will come out stronger and know who you are. You never have to go through it alone. He will hold you. He will wake you up. He’ll help you put one foot in front of the other. No matter what you go through (happiness or sadness), God will be there.

Perfect Love Casts Out Fearโ™ฅ๏ธ

I need to do this more. When I โ€˜pray myselfโ€™ out of fear it tends to work. What does that look like? I talk to God out loud. I tell him Iโ€™m an overcomer. I remind myself (and him) that I think things through. I talk to him about how long weโ€™ve been together (Jesus and I), sorting problems out and finding solutions. I remember all the times heโ€™s sent me the right people and how he continues to. I remind myself that the ones who left used their time up. They were no longer of use, especially if they were in opposition to Godโ€™s plan.๐Ÿ™ I remind myself of what heโ€™s brought me through. I remind myself heโ€™s never failed me. I talk out loud and tell myself I can. When your power rests in God, there is no such thing as failure. Sometimes you are redirected, and sometimes you fall, but you get back up. You make it. You find a way. There is success because with God all things are possible.

I Will Call Upon Your Name๐Ÿ›

โ€˜Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders. Itโ€™s a song I love.โค๏ธ Here is the link to the article I wrote after I went to their concert! https://notwithoutgod.net/?s=Hillsong+music This image stuck out to me. โ€˜I will call upon Your name. Keep my eyes above the waves. My soul will rest in Your embrace. I am Yours. And You are mine.โ€™โ™ฅ๏ธ We are living in unpredictable times. I believe COVID 19 has weakened our planet as a whole. I donโ€™t think itโ€™s coincidental right now. Whatโ€™s happening in the world.๐Ÿฅฒ๐Ÿ™ Terror is taking over in some parts. There is fear of getting sick. Earthquakes in Haiti have left devastating consequences. Iโ€™m at the point where Iโ€™d like to throw my hands up and sing, โ€˜Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders. Let me walk upon the waters. Wherever You would call me.โ€™ At times I have a feeling exactly where he is calling me. I have to ask him to โ€˜Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander. So my faith will be made stronger. In the presence of my Savior.โ€™ We are living in harsh times. Since we are all connected, we are all affected. Unlike many people, I donโ€™t believe it is the end of the world soon. Wars have taken place since the beginning of time. Disease (pandemics) is not new and neither are natural disasters. Physics explains we may be at โ€˜levelโ€™ four of the Empire State Building. Letโ€™s imagine the world will end when entropy has its way and we are at the top of the Empire State Building, which we will call level ten. Now add a bunch of zeroes. The world is not ending anytime soon. What has to end is our division. What has to end is our separation. Our hatred and fighting. What we value as good isnโ€™t the same as what others do. Letโ€™s be a โ€˜city on a hill.โ€™ A light that shines so bright it illuminates. It starts with one. It starts with us.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Physical Therapy and Exercise

Last night at churchโ˜ฆ๏ธโ›ช

Here are pictures from my little church walk last night!โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŽ‘ The parking lot was nearly empty, and I have taken long walks at this church numerous times. Itโ€™s been a way to clear my head when I have a lot on my mind and to pray, of course. Lately Iโ€™ve been asking God to forgive me for any feelings of fear. I know I have a job to do here. But considering the state the world is in, I guess it makes sense. I like to get my exercise here, release my thoughts and talk with him. One thing Iโ€™ve always noticed is it is much easier to hear Godโ€™s voice after you get away from the noise. I was considering whether I should post this or not. I look very casual and have no make up on. But I thought about how my life has changed. Since the pandemic started I’ve been teaching full time from home. I donโ€™t have to get up and go to work every day. In a way, I miss that. I miss the way life used to be. I know this is my new normal. Nonetheless, I feel blessed. God never promised us an easy life, but one that we would get through.

Trust God

Life is not perfect; but God’s love is. It is made perfect in weakness; there is no fear in love. This is biblical. That is not to say life is perfect or that the world is perfect, though. ‘The universe doesn’t have to make sense to us’ is how one of my favorite physicists put it.

We are moving here through entropy, although we call it ‘time.’ Time is manmade, and we even have different time zones. That is because time is relative based on where you are positioned. “It is not the same for everyone” is how Einstein explained it.

Often we hear others say, “God’s timing is perfect.” What does that mean anyway? A million years to God is not the same as it would be for us. He is eternal. At the start of the universe (that some like to call, “The Big Bang”), I will call it the “Big event,โ€ only because there was no bang. There were no air molecules at that time. God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light.

Let’s not complicate things. Everything you see today is made up of light. Even us. Did you know that the elements in our bodies are the same elements that are in stardust? It’s true. That’s not to say we don’t have organs or blood, but we are made of stardust. We are also made up of atoms. We are made of billions and billions of atoms that never die.

It’s a primary rule of physics. Scripture also tells us we are made in his likeness and image, and in the Bible there are several places where God is called light. He is the light of the world. He is light and in him there can be no darkness at all. God is light and he created it.

When we see something happening that doesn’t seem “God-like,” we must trust in God and carry our cross. Again, the world doesnโ€™t have to cater to us. We have to conform and learn how to adapt. Now, that is NOT to say that we have to conform to the world. But we ARE living in the world, so we have to live amongst one another in acceptance and love.

We have to forgive, and that is hard to do at times. But as you know, these are some of the first commandments. Love your neighbor as yourself; forgive and let it go. Turn the “other cheek.โ€ In a world divided like it never has been, this may seem hard.

But keep in mind that God is love. And that we must trust him no matter what. God has made his son heir of all things, through who he has also made the universe (Hebrews 1:2). God loves us indiscriminately, let’s at least do our very best!

Quotes

God Is Loveโ™ฅ๏ธ

God is not just loving; God is cross-like love. God is not just peace; God is cross-like peace. The violent portraits people paint of God at times are not accurate. God doesnโ€™t inflict harm on us; he sometimes allows things to happen. Why that is we canโ€™t even begin to understand. This is when we have to trust. But keep in mind that out of evil comes good. Itโ€™s like a proton’s relationship to a neutron. There cannot be a loss without gain or a tragedy without glory, for that matter. God is scientific. Sorrow and joy are interchangeable. Again, we donโ€™t always know why bad things happen. Often itโ€™s our fault. Nonetheless, God loves us more than we can know or fathom. He is Love eternal. โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ›โœณ๏ธโœจโ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒ

Our Solar System๐Ÿช๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ

Sometimes it seems like the sunโ˜€๏ธ is moving. It is not the sun that moves; it is the planets that move. We move, for example, and Mars moves also. Within one to two months, it can move quite far from one part of the sky to the other.

Mars is a planet that has seasons like we do. Not all planets do. Mars actually had water (we found that out in the 1950s and 1960s). Could there have been life? Mars also has two small moons๐ŸŒ•๐ŸŒ–. We have one.

As you know, the rover that recently landed on Mars, Perseverance, made a huge breakthrough by landing on such a rough terrain. It was a first time event that will mark history. It happened last year in August.

It gets so cold on Mars it can be like -100 Fahrenheit. The air is very thin. Your weight on Mars would be one third of what it is here. Mars is called the red planet. There is no “blue” or water anymore.

Mars is actually small. It’s only one fourth of the diameter on earth. It has low gravity. However, billions of years ago Mars was covered in water. So what happened? On earth, wherever water appears, life appears๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿƒ.

Was there life on Mars that disappeared and dried up? The dinosaurs on earth became extinct 65,000,000 plus years ago. The rover, again, Perseverance is searching to see if there was ever life on Mars.

The mission is using a special device to explore the soil. Perseverance will leave tubes of soil on Mars for eight years and then bring them back to earth to detect if there was ever life there.

The sky in Mars is kind of pinkish. Mars is just one sibling planet, though. There are many other planets, so we can begin by looking at planets nearest to the sun๐ŸŒž. Mercury and Venus are close by.

One difference between Venus and Mercury is that Mercury can get really hot and cold at the same time. There can be a 1000 degree difference between night and day. Mercury is not even the hottest planet. Venus is the hottest.

It’s not as close to the sun as Mercury, but it’s hotter at times. Venus is always 860 F. It doesn’t change. The air is thick; it’s like being half a mile down in the ocean. The pressure is intense. NASA observes Venus from orbit through a radar map.

Most of Venus consists of rolling planes, and itโ€™s kind of like Iowa. There are no oceans. But there are volcanoes. Venus is sometimes called the sister of the earth, but it is incredibly different.

Which planet would you want to go to first, if the time ever comes to send humans to other planets? Let’s take a look at some more planets near the earth. Saturn is famous for its rings around it. Jupiter๐Ÿช is famous for the clouds.

Juno is a mission that’s orbiting Jupiter by NASA. There is at least one mission to every single planet in the solar system. They are all robots; we haven’t sent a human yet. The storms on Jupiter go on for decades and hundreds of years. We suspect there was a storm even going on for millions!

That is a little background on our solar system in our galaxy, the Milky Way๐ŸŒŒ. Marvel at all the Lord has done. There are aboutย 125 billion galaxies in the observable universe that we know of so far. But Iโ€™m sure thereโ€™s more! I believe itโ€™s infinite and that there are multiverses.

The Milky Way is just one galaxy. Scientists estimate that there may be tens of billions of solar systems in our galaxy,ย alone, perhaps as many as 100 billion. Think about that. Ponder on God’s grandeur! Never doubt his power and magnificence. He holds the galaxies and stars in place; he will hold you together also!

Modern Medicine StarCourse Series

Today I found a video interview with Dr. Craig Spencer, a famous doctor and member of Doctors Without Borders (one of my favorite groups!). I get so excited when I find celebrities whoโ€™ve taught a course for the same company I do. He’s also an ER doctor and professor at Colombia University. Did you know that life expectancy used to only be forty years old? It has now increased to 80 years today.

We live in a golden age of medicine and health. In some countries outside of the U.S., though, unfortunately, life expectancy is still only until the 50s. Thus, birthdays are special. There was always a risk that babies may not make it to their first birthday around the world historically.

We didn’t always know as much about disease before as we do now, either. We used to think everything came from bad air. We didn’t know as much about viruses and germs. For example, surgeons many years ago didn’t put on clean robes as they do now. They didn’t understand that they could bring infection and bacteria with them into surgery.

Much later, they realized going in like that does patients a disservice. Infections after surgery were commonplace many years ago. A doctor, Joseph Lister, came up with the idea that germs were the reason for infection, not the air or “spirits” in the hospital. He started sterilizing and made surgery safe. Because of him, surgery has continued.

No access to clean and fresh water is one of the main reasons for poor health even nowadays. We have to sterilize water. You may notice that countries with a flawed water system have more illnesses such as cholera, etc. Believe it or not, salt and sugar save lives! Because sugar mixed with water and a little bit of salt helps prevent dehydration.

The last health tip I will share (from the interview), is everyone needs a good bug spray! We don’t suffer much from malaria in the U.S.; however, the most threatening insect is a mosquito. We still deal with it in other countries throughout the world. Bugs carry the most bacteria.

Regarding vaccines, first and foremost, they do their best to prevent infectionsโ€”especially certain types of conditions. Vaccines are as “old” as the US and were first used in the fight against smallpox. The last case of smallpox was in 1949. The only disease ever fully eradicated.

Now I will pass it over to Brian Galvin (Varsity Tutors) and Dr. Craig Spencer. Just click on the link to watch the entire video. It’s very interesting. I think you’ll enjoy it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8F1_aqd47es

Lastly, though, I want to point out that Artificial Intelligence (AI) trained machines are already looking at scans and are detecting stuff a radiologist may not be able to. More of this is on the horizon. People are going to live longer, says Dr. Craig Spencer. Due to advancements in technology.

A basic computer chip is also responsible for saving lives. Doctors can target, collect data, and save information. Medicine is only going to improve over the next few decades and beyond!

There is always another โ€˜dayโ€™ whether here or there, His love never ends. It is eternal, and we will spend eternity with him. Let’s set our minds on things above: service, tolerance, and patience. Sometimes I fail, but because I know that your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens and your faithfulness, to the skies. I am not worried. I will try to be better.๐Ÿ™โ˜€๏ธโ›…๏ธ

Bill Nye, โ€˜the Science Guyโ€™ (a course about vaccines)

Bill Nye, โ€˜the Science Guyโ€™ taught a course for the same company I teach for, Varsity Tutors! I get so excited when I find celebrities whoโ€™ve taught a course for the same company I do. Here he teaches about vaccines and why we need them!

Do you know what the most dangerous animal in the world is? A mosquito. Thatโ€™s right, itโ€™s not a lion or a shark as one may think, itโ€™s a tiny mosquito. Itโ€™s one of the main reasons there is a deadly disease called malaria, in countries mostly near the equator where it’s warm all the time.

The germs or bacteria that get you sick or this virus, called the Covid 19 pandemic, or the parasites that try to live off you, can be fought by our own immune systems. The healthier you are, the better, of course, but believe it or not we are not too much different from animals. We are more like them then you realize. It’s why we’re reaching for โ€˜herd immunity.โ€™ Viruses can spread like wildfire, and measles, the chicken pox, malaria, or Covid 19 are different from just a regular cold or fever.

Our immune systems are not ready for them! So what the vaccine does is train your immune system so that when your cells (white blood cells) come up against the germ, they capture it and destroy it! They break it up into molecules and devour it. I am going to attach the video so you can see for yourself the benefit, history and importance of vaccines. I hope you enjoy it and find it educational.

I’ll praise Him in the stormโ›ˆ. I’ll praise Him in a loss. I’ll praise him when I’m down and when I don’t know what’s going on. I’ll praise him when I have no strength to praise; I’ll praise Him in my heart. Iโ€™ll praise him when he takes. I’ll praise him when there seems to be no way out. Did I say I’ll praise him when I don’t know what is going on? I’ll praise him all the days of my life no matter what, because, itโ€™s simple. He’s the king of kings. Heโ€™s the God of all glory! The ruler of the universe(s). The maker of the heavens! He sits on the throne. From everlasting to everlasting, I will praise Him all the days of my life, whether here or elsewhere. His love has a way of making things right, he mends broken hearts, he brings peace and solutions, and he heals me every time. When you have confidence in God, you don’t have too much to worry about.โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿช๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’ซโœจโš›๏ธโšก๏ธ๐ŸŒ

God, I need you๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ’•

Writing about God doesnโ€™t mean I need him any less; itโ€™s a constant reminder. Iโ€™m searching for God; in continuous need of salvation, I seek to be healed every day! I am aware that healing is not a one-time thing or event. Instead, a constant process that happens in our lives day to day. As the Lord tells us in scripture, โ€œI am the Lord who [continuously] heals you.โ€ God knew we would need to be healed more than once. I need salvation every day, and Iโ€™m not ashamed to admit that. We all fall short. For me to claim I am perfect or have it all together would be a lie. I suffer from the human condition of being โ€˜human.โ€™ I fail. God takes me back. I pray to possess the fruits of the spirit more and more each day. I pray for his healing hands, thoughts, and ways. Grace IS enough to heal me every day.

God will always be there ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’“

God has never left you. Not for one minute. Not since you were born up until now. God has never left your side. He’s always been there. Through every heartbreak. He does not count our wrongs; he reminds us of our rights. He does not condemn us, he lifts us up. He gives us peace in the storm. Grace to face another day. He’s an ever present help in time of need. Most of all, he is a friend. He will never leave. His love is all encompassing, all accepting, it is love unconditional. You can’t find it anywhere. God hears our prayers๐Ÿ™

God knows all the prayers of our hearts before we even ask. He wants us to have them. He doesnโ€™t grant everything, though. We sometimes fail to realize that God is not Santa Claus. He is a loving father who gives us our wishes sometimes on his timing, and sometimes we donโ€™t get our desires at all. He is a loving God who cares for us and knows what’s best. He doesnโ€™t fail to hear. He is a God we have access to 24 hours a day, and he has a plan for even when we fail. God is the greatest chess player. He sees all the ways something can go. The beauty is he is abundant, too, so he wants us to be joyous and full. In an infinite universe, such as the one weโ€™re in. There are endless possibilities. Thatโ€™s why we should never say never. We should always hope and not give up. God wants us to be happy.

Science & Physics

Is there other ‘life’ out there? (Part 2)

You may recall this oblong rocklike object found flying in space by astronauts looking through NASAโ€™s telescope. When people studied the trajectory of this object (it was not a comet or an asteroid!), it was the size of a football field and flew past the sun. Some astronauts believe it couldโ€™ve been sent to us from alien life, so we know they exist. It definitely came from another galaxy. When people studied it, they found that it was not a comet or an asteroid through evidence. This is not your โ€œgrandfatherโ€™s comet.โ€ So scientists asked themselves, what if this object IS from another planet. They realized if you had a type of EXO planet, and if a piece of it got knocked off, it would appear like this rocklike object. It doesnโ€™t seem to be some form of extraterrestrial life. Iโ€™ve had a vision before. I had a dream that two UFOs visited me, and they looked nothing like this. They were glowing, peaceful, and looked like spaceships. They did not look like a rocklike feature, but they looked very beautiful. I canโ€™t quite explain them or find a photo that is fitting enough. But they came to visit me in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. I believe people were in there, or aliens, I should say. And when I โ€˜woke up,โ€™ it did not feel like a dream at all. As a matter of fact, I remember feeling myself getting up out of bed to look out the window. In my opinion, if there is extraterrestrial life out thereโ€“and I believe there may be, especially due to this experience, I think they are more like us than we realize. I say that because all of the universe(s) follow the same laws of physics, so I imagine that the โ€˜beingsโ€™ on another (potential) planet where this life would be are more like us than we know. However, they would be way more advanced. Brian Greene, world famous author and physicist, has confirmed that if there is other life out there, they are at least 2-3 billion years ahead! We are a new planet. A new earth. Physics even tells us, in an eternal universe, anything can happen. This universe is eternal. And the more scientists learn that this universe could very well be infinite, almost with certainty, the greater the chances that we are not the only ones here. We are not the only ones in the universe(s), in my opinion. Itโ€™s the magic of math. The greater the universe expands (we know it is increasingly getting larger), the more galaxies there are (100-200 billion) that we have noted so far. The greater the chance there is โ€œother lifeโ€ out there. I believe my dream was more of a vision because I felt it was so real when I woke up. I think I was visited. They are out there. They are harmless. They know God as Holy Father, and even Jesus. They donโ€™t necessarily follow our values or have our cultural taboos, but they are peaceful and kind.

A Love Letter From Jesusโค๏ธ

As I was going through old cards and notes yesterday, I came across this letter that someone gave to me during the time of my accident (Yes, I have saved letters and notes from that long ago back in 1994!). I don’t know exactly who gave it to me, but I want to share it with you because it’s just beautiful:

(A Love Letter from Jesus)

How are you? I just had to send you this letter to tell you how much I love you and care about you. I saw you yesterday as you were walking with your friends. I waited all day, hoping you would walk and talk with me also. As evening drew near, I gave you a sunset to close your day, and a cool breeze to rest you. Then I waited, but you never came. O yes, it hurt me, but I still love you because I am your friend.

I saw you fall asleep last night, and I longed to touch your brow, so I spilled moonlight upon your pillow and your face… Again I waited, wanting to rush down so we could talk. I have so many gifts for you.

You awakened late this morning and rushed off for the day. My tears were in the rain. Today you looked so sad, so alone. It makes my heart ache because I understand. My friends let me down and hurt me many times, but I love you. I try to tell you in the quiet green grass. I whisper it in the leaves and in the trees and breathe it in the color of the flowers. I shout it to you in the mountain streams, and give the birds love songs to sing. I clothe you with warm sunshine and perfume the air. My love for you is deeper than the oceans and bigger than the biggest want or need you could ever have.

We will spend eternity together in heaven. I know how hard it is on earth. I really know, because I was there, and I want to help you. My Father wants to help you, too. He’s that way, you know. Just call me, ask me, talk to me. It is your decision… I have chosen you, and because of this I will wait… Because I love you.โ™ฅ๏ธ

Your Friend,

Jesus

He Reigns๐Ÿ‘‘โœจ๐Ÿ’ซ

He reigns. Glory in the highest! He reigns. Iโ€™m thinking of the song by Mercy Me. Itโ€™s beautiful. Heโ€™s the maker of all things. Some things you may want to know, Part 3โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŒ™๐ŸŒŒ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŒ

The sunโ˜€๏ธ is the brightest space๐ŸŒŒ object in the sky. Sometimes itโ€™s so bright, you can see the sun and moon at the same time in the day.๐ŸŒ… As the day progresses, the sun grows and gets higher in the sky.

The sun commands so much. Not only seasons, but how much daylight we get๐ŸŒž and to what hemisphere on earth we get it. The earthโ€™s tilt has a big say, and really helps determine (in conjunction with the sun๐Ÿ˜Ž) whether it’s warm or cool.

Plants๐Ÿƒ and animals๐Ÿฐgrow in the sunny seasons (spring and summer๐ŸŒผ). Some animals๐Ÿ• even hibernate and save food for the winter during summer months.

The sun is at the center of our solar system. Long gone are the days when people believed the earth is at the center๐ŸŒ. We have known for several centuries that the sun is at the center.

At first, many did not want to believe it, but than it was acceptedโ€”thanks to Nicolaus Copernicus in the 1500s who made the discovery.

The earth๐ŸŒ rotates one time every 24 hours. We are spinning while rotating, although you canโ€™t feel it. But itโ€™s why it appears that the sun๐ŸŒ„ is moving.

But really, the sun cannot move, it is us, the earth, who are moving! It takes the earth 365 days to rotate once around the sunโ€”a birthday!๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽˆ

The night sky is dark. There is no light from the sun; however, the moonlight๐ŸŒ– is basically light from the sun that is reflecting upon the moon. What I mean is, we wouldnโ€™t be able to see the moon if it werenโ€™t for the sunโ˜€๏ธ. At night๐ŸŽ†, you can see planetsโ€”objects that move around the sun.

Did you know the sun is a star๐ŸŒŸ? It’s true. Actually, there is more stardustโœจ in the universe than you realize. We, too, are made from stardust. Our bodies contain the same elements that starsโญ๏ธ do. Everything came from the “Big Bang,” or “Big event๐ŸŽ‡,” that happened 13.8 billion years ago.

And, no, there was no loud noise or “bang” as some may think there was. There were no air molecules at that time. God said, “Let there be light๐Ÿ’ซ,” and there was light. That’s all.๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

Donโ€™t wait until tomorrow, do it today!

The sun is the most beautiful commodity in the world, but we are told that 5 billion years from now, the sun may swallow up the earth. The sun may expand, and its heat may be more than we can take. Dinosaurs became extinct more than 65,000,000 years ago due to an asteroid, but asteroids may not be our problem. Entropy itself will win one day, and everything will come to an end. I mean, everything. Iโ€™m not telling you this to discourage you but to make you realize that life is finite. Nothing lasts forever. All buildings, structures, planets, black holes, and even protons will be destroyed. We are told by Brian Greene, best-selling author, professor, and physicist that this will happen at about ten to the sixty-eighth. Imagine that right now are at ten to the tenth, so it wonโ€™t be for a long time from now. But it actually can happen sooner, he says. We donโ€™t know when. The universe is expanding, and one day that expansion may be too much. My point in telling you this is to remind you that we are here temporarily. What we do now makes a difference because if itโ€™s not happening now, it may never happen. Thatโ€™s why I want to encourage you to take that step, whatever it is, for the better to make that dream happen. Whether itโ€™s starting a business or traveling. There is always something we aspire to do. Each of us have at least one thing we want to accomplish. Work on it now. And watch it come to fruition. All we have is today. Why wait until tomorrow?

Not Without God: A Story of Survival

My book, Not Without God, is about a catastrophic accident I was in at sixteen- years-old that left me paralyzed. While trying to cross the street on my way to school, I was hit by a car. I had to be taken via ambulance to the local hospital, Botsford, but the facility didn’t have the technology or scope to save me, so they sent me to a level-one trauma hospital by helicopter. I went to Mott Children’s Hospital on the “Survival Life Flight” at the University of Michigan.

That was where I went into 12 hours of emergency surgery. The doctors were able to save my life. The Lord was working through them, of course. I had severe injuries. My spine had shifted and broken at the thoracic level (T10-11). I had a fracture in my C1 vertebrae and had to wear a neck brace for a few weeks while in the hospital. I had internal bleeding, my ribs were broken, and my tibias and fibias were shattered in both legs. I had to learn how to walk again through an extensive amount of physical therapy, thousands of hours or more.

It’s a huge miracle that I’m alive and able to walk at all. I use AFOs (an ankle-to-foot orthosis) and forearm crutches. Although I’m not walking as well as I would like, I am grateful for how far I’ve come. Some medical professionals predicted I’d never walk at all. I had to stay at the hospital for a little over three months. The nurses in the hospital thought I was happy because I was going home soon. They made sure to send me home just before my birthday, and they’d come into the room and say, “Aren’t you happy to be going home?” They had wide smiles and their eyes glowed.

What they didn’t know is I was terrified inside. I didn’t want to go back into the real world. I knew it would be difficult for my family to take care of me. I didn’t know how friends would receive me now that I was handicapped. I was the one who used to pick friends up and take them out. I was active before the accident. I was on the Multicultural & Multiracial Diversity council at school that year.

The teachers and administrators were always pleased with my wise comments.
A large assembly was to be held in our gym with all the students on the council, their parents, and the other students in the school, teachers, and principals were all going to be in the audience. Unfortunately, I never got to attend the assembly. My accident happened just before it, on Oct. 18, 1994. I was told that all the parents, teachers, and students, stood up and applauded in honor of me though when my principle made mention of me.

I was so sad I missed the assembly. I didn’t get to be in school with my friends or be there for the big day we were preparing for. However, I have learned that through life’s tragedies there will always be blessings. Light and dark are opposite, and so are pain and peace. Peace does come no matter how big the tragedy. You find your way, somehow, you may experience days of anguish. You may be suffering mentally or physically for months. God has a way of carrying away your pain. It’s often through no effort of your own.

You have to have faith for him to help. You have to look to him for guidance. He will send the right people, experiences, situations, and friends to help. Slowly you will heal. It may be a long process. You will be restored though. There will be new challenges and new setbacks, and there may even be new tragedies. God will be there every time, in your loneliness, he will comfort you, and in your sadness, he will console you.

He is a God who never sleeps. You have access to him 24 hours a day and all you have to do is call on his name. It can be a simple prayer. Just before I was hit by a car, I called out to God, “Lord, please help.” Those three words were the last thing I remember saying before I woke up on a hospital bed. I had never been hospitalized so I didn’t even know where I was. God healed me each day, little by little. When everything was unpredictable, he gave me life, he helped me walk again and live.

I had new opportunities, new blessings, and new beautiful experiences. That is just God’s way. He is one of restoration and hope.

I’m looking forward to the blessings that will come from my second book and most of all, it will be nice to reach out to more people. Tomorrow I will be featured on ESPN’s “Solutions from the Huddle” and interviewed on a podcast show. I’ll talk about my book, experiences, business, and life. I’m looking forward to it, and I hope that I can touch more lives and help more people!

Some things you may want to know, Part 2๐Ÿช

The most obvious thing about the world is if you drop something, it falls. That is the force of gravity in action. God doesnโ€™t keep secrets. This Law of Gravity is what drove Isaac Newton to discover how the universe works. But the question is if you drop something, will it ALWAYS fall back down? Not necessarily. If the force is strong enough, the object could escape the earth’s gravity and go out into space. It’s called escape velocity. But letโ€™s change our focus for a moment here. What is a black hole? Itโ€™s the opposite. A black hole is a region of spacetime where gravity is so strong that nothingโ€”no particles or even electromagnetic radiation such as lightโ€”can escape from it. It’s a star that has exploded (a big one). However, black holes will one day dissipate. Along with everything else. Everything you see will be destroyed. Every structure. Every building. Every proton. Even us! This world will not last forever. However, there will be a rebirth–at that time–particles will form in the โ€˜void.โ€™ And since all we are is “particles” according to physics, that means everything that you see now will be destroyed. Don’t fret too much about it though. Brian Greene, world-famous physicist and author of “Until the End of Time,” says it won’t happen until ten to the sixty-eighth. Now, it has been almost 13.8 billion years since the Big Bang, or “Big event,” that happened that began everything–but everything will disappear at ten to the sixty-eighth years. Imagine that right now; we are at ten to the tenth. There is a chance into this far future that the earth can be sucked into a black hole. Most things in the cosmos will get sucked into black holes. The earth may be swallowed up by the sun in about 5 billion years, though, even sooner than that. The sun will eat up Mercury and Venus and maybe the earth also, we don’t know.

Here is the video I watched that I based this post off of. This was a course that Brian Green taught for the same company I teach for:

Let your faith be bigger than your fears!

Often we are faced with circumstances that seem like more than we can handle. We might wonder how we will make it through. If we will be able to find the strength, the right words, the audacity to โ€˜walk through the fire.โ€™ It is in the fire when God is with us the most. His power is made perfect in our weakness, and since he is the creator of EVERYTHING, he knew we would need him. Walk into that scary situation. He will be right there. Let your faith be more significant than your fear, and youโ€™ll realize the outcome will be better than you expected. God doesnโ€™t deny us when we are in need and call out to him. If we are genuinely in need and trying to do right, God will sustain us. He is a fair God. He still favors right over wrong. His omnipresence is magnificent, and his unconditional love, well, there are no words.โค๏ธ

Everything will be swallowed up!๐ŸŽ‡๐Ÿชโ˜€๏ธ

It has been said that the sun can โ€˜burn outโ€™ or swallow up all the entire earth in about 5 billion years! That’s not that far away, considering dinosaurs became extinct due to an asteroid 65,000,000+ years ago. Either way, one day, entropy will have its way, and everything you see will die. Every building, every structure, everything in the universe(s), even black holes! We are a universe that is expanding! But one day, that expansion may be too much! When God said, โ€˜Let there be light,โ€™ there was light. And there wasn’t a โ€˜bangโ€™ as some of you may think there was because there was no noise at that time. There were no air molecules. But when God said, โ€˜let there be light,โ€™ he created everything you see today, including you and me! We are stardust. We are made from the same elements stars are! My point in telling you this is not to discourage you but to advise you to live your life one day at a time. Enjoy all the days of your life while you’re here. Leave your mark in the world.โœจ๐Ÿ”†๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’ซ๐ŸŒ‡โœณ๏ธโ˜€๏ธโ‡๏ธ

The moon is incredible!๐ŸŒ

The moon is so beautiful. I love the moon and all itโ€™s wonder. Everything God does is perfect.โœจ We can only see the moon๐ŸŒ• because of the light of the sunโ˜€๏ธ. Depending upon which part of the moon the sun shines upon, that is all we can see of it๐ŸŒ™. The moon goes through different phases. It takes the moon 27 days to rotate the earth one time. It takes the earth a whole day to rotate once๐ŸŒ. As you know, it takes the earth 365 days to rotate around the sunโ˜€๏ธ once. The sun provides us with so much! We really canโ€™t live without it. If it were any closer to the earthโ€™s oceans, they would melt. God is perfect, though, and so is his design.๐Ÿ™ The sunโ€™s๐ŸŒž gravity pulls the earth toward it! Itโ€™s amazing how gravity works perfectly with the earth, moon, and sun!๐ŸŒ… โ€˜The moon’s gravity pulls at the Earth, causing predictable rises and falls in sea levels known as tides. Low tides occur between these two humps. The pull of the moon is also slowing the Earth’s rotation, an effect known as tidal braking, which increases the length of our day by 2.3 milliseconds per century.โ€™ Days are longer now, according to Google.com. Whatโ€™s amazing is how we figured all this out. Isaac Newton changed the way we understand the universe. He discovered the laws of gravity and motion by watching an apple drop to the ground. God doesnโ€™t keep secrets from us. Get this, all the laws of physics were figured out through this discovery, and even more so, all of the universe(s) follow the same Laws of Physics that we do! Itโ€™s amazing how obvious God makes some things to us. Gravity is holding all things together.

Happy 4th of July, friends!โ˜„๏ธMy inspiration is my dad! Heโ€™s led me to physics. Now he rests with Holy Father and Our Lord Jesus near the star, Kolob, the closest to Godโ€™s throne room. It also keeps our earth in place. Itโ€™s at the center of our home, the Milky Way!๐ŸŒŒ God doesnโ€™t make mistakes! For this fourth of July special, I wanted to share about my beloved dad, Yacoubโค๏ธ. He loved and fought for this country too! He knew so much about God and believed in science. Thanks to all of you who have been reading my posts about physics for the last year and a half.๐Ÿ™ I have grown in my studies and am learning more each day. It doesnโ€™t matter how long you study this impressive field. You could never know enough! Today I found out that the world-renowned and famous physicist, Brian Greene, teaches courses for the same company I work for, Varsity Tutors! Iโ€™ve been following him for a while. I knew Varsity Tutors hired teachers that were celebrities. But I am still honored! Well, Iโ€™ll keep this one short and sweet.๐ŸŽŠ I hope youโ€™re all having a wonderful 4th of July!๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ God bless this wonderful and young land!๐Ÿ’™

Black holes and the slowing of time!

Ever wonder why time slows down near the edge of black hole? It’s because gravity doesn’t just pull down on matter and energy. It pulls down on time itself. Gravity is the warping of time. It’s why clocks will click off at different times according to where they are located. It’s why we have different time zones: EST vs. Pacific, for example. But as you get closer to the edge of a black hole, your clock gets slower and slower until it eventually stops! So, time stops because it is eternal (if you were caught near a black hole or even sucked inside!).

What is entanglement? Let’s take a look at this theory for a minute. It is when two widely separated particles act as if they are just next to one another. Separating them would make you think they are independent; however, they are not independent. There is communication. The particles behave the same way and even act the same. One particle could be in Los Angeles, and one could be in New York City. It doesn’t matter. They are influencing each other. They are entangled. There is something called ‘particle spin.’ Particles like to spin around.

But what is weird about entanglement is that you can have two particles (both spinning in opposite directions) and be widely separated. Still, when you measure each particle, they are spinning simultaneously! They are influencing one another. This phenomenon has left the world’s greatest physicists baffled for years. Einstein even called it ‘spooky action at a distance.’ They can even be on opposite sides of the universe or in the same room! One will spin up, and one will spin down at the same time!

Why is it relevant? Well, God says we are entangled with him in various places in the bible. When one died, ‘all died,’ for example. And the same with scripture that tells us, ‘we have been raised with Christ,’ before we were even alive. Also, we are made in his image and likeness. We are ‘duplicates.’ We are ‘paired’ whether or not we realize it. It happens everywhere. There is this entanglement all across the universe. Everything in the universe is duplicated.

However, let’s imagine that there is a chance the one can fall into a black hole. Ironically, if one of the entangled particles falls into the black hole, the other will not. So, why does only one of them fall into the hole? Why does the ‘thread’ snap? Because when one of them falls into the hole, time stops. Thus, there is no reason for a ‘duplicate’ any longer. The one in the black hole is eternal. You are no longer entangled. You are one with God! Some of these notes are based on Brian Greene’s โ€˜World Science Festival’s live lecture’ and Q and A online.

Some things you may want to know๐Ÿช

Do you want to know how there is proof that a Big Bang or ‘Big event’ started everything? Itโ€™s called microwave background radiology. Look it up. The early universe did not look the way it does now. The Milky Way got its name because it looked like โ€œspilled milk.” The sun is at the center, not the earth, as some thought. Our planet revolves around the sun. The moon revolves around the earth. At first, the galaxies were just starting to take their form for the first billion years. Now, we have a hundred billion of them that we know of so far! If the earthโ€™s oceans were any closer to the sun, they would evaporate and melt. Godโ€™s work is perfect. He doesnโ€™t make mistakes.

Sadly, the dinosaurs became extinct due to an asteroid over 65 million years ago. It has been documented that we may have gotten here within the last 5 million years. Iโ€™ve read we are just a few hundred thousand years old, but I believe weโ€™re older than that. Some believe the universe may have always been there. I think it was, but God caused the โ€œswellingโ€ of the universe; He created it. And the expansion is happening up until now! Every one of our bodies is traceable to the Big Bang. We are basically, stardust. We are made from the same elements that stars are.

Newtonโ€™s Laws of Physics helped us figure out that things are โ€œon Earth as they are in heavenโ€ when he figured out the laws of motion. The force of gravity pulling apples from their orchards also directs the moon in its gravity around the earth. This Law of Physics is universal and contained throughout all the entire universe(s). Gravity is everything.

If there is โ€œlifeโ€ outside of this planet, they are abiding by the same laws of physics that we are; however, the aliens would not speak English or have the exact social expectations that we would. We could imagine them as having two hands. But we donโ€™t know that they would have two hands for sure. A handshake may not necessarily mean a greeting to them, either. We would have to communicate with them through science and nothing more.

The speed of light is faster than anything in the universe. Nothing has ever gone as fast as the speed of light. We thought we would not do many things: like go to the moon or travel to Mars, for example. We have done more than we imagined, and there is still a lot more. I believe that God oversees all of the universe(s) and his magnificent creation! The more proof we find (through math and testing) that there could be multiverses, the more of a chance that other life could exist out there.

I never thought I would say this, but I believe they do. I think they know God too, even Jesus. They are harmless. Professor Brian Greene, the famous physicist and New York Times best-selling author, says, โ€œIf there is other life out there, they are at least 2-3 billion years ahead of us. We are a new planet.โ€

So imagine how much more advanced than us they are? He believes they exist. I do too. I had a dream as a teenager. Well, it was more like a vision that felt so real after I came out of it, I didnโ€™t feel like I was sleeping at all. Anyway, I had a dream I was visited by two beautiful spaceships. They came in front of my bedroom window deep into the middle of the night. They were glowing, peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful. I will talk more about it more in a later post. Some of these notes are based off of โ€˜Astrophysics for People in a Hurry.โ€™ It is Dr. Neil deGrasse Tysonโ€™s book.

Healing is continuous

Most people think of healing as a one-time thing or event. What they donโ€™t understand is the Bible states that the Lord continuously heals us. He knows we need to be healed more than once. It is rare that you are made complete and never need healing again. Healing to me seems more like a succession of events that the Lord brings us through and heals us (even hearts) each time. He says, โ€˜I am the Lord who continuously heals you.โ€™ This should speak volumes if you’re dealing with a chronic issue. By healing us each time, it means we can be whole. It’s never too late for God to โ€˜heal us.โ€™ He always takes us back, refreshes us, and gives us another chance, a new hope for tomorrow, and something to look forward to. Only he can do that. Healing is always available.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

It’s never too late

He always does. We are quick to think it’s too late for something good to happen. We write things off as they’ll never change. I’ll never get better, we believe. I’ll never do this or that. But deep within your conscious are the things you think you will never do, and they will happen to you. All you have to do is wait, hope a little, and not give up faith. It may take years, but you will feel yourself riding on that plane to go to that dreamed about destination. You will see yourself reaching that goal; whatever it may be, it’s possible. You will witness that you have done something you thought you never could. God has a way of pleasantly surprising us. So before you succumb to culture and the everyday thinking that life will never be more–keep in mind, God has a plan. It’s never too late.โœจ๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ”†๐Ÿ’ญ๐ŸŽ†โ‡๏ธ๐Ÿ™

His love is unconditional

He had loved us at our darkest and at times when we did not deserve his love. God is not partial. He doesnโ€™t only love us when we are doing โ€˜good.โ€™ He loves us when we fail. He loves us when weโ€™re not pretty. He loves us eternally no matter what. The sooner people realize that God does not change (like we do), the better. Heโ€™s not a fair-weather friend. Heโ€™s not here for a โ€˜seasonโ€™ or because there is some benefit he gets back from us. He doesnโ€™t behave the way humans do. He made us. He is our Holy Father. He loves us at our darkest when weโ€™re not โ€˜winning,โ€™ and when we know, we could be better. He loves us just as much as when weโ€™re doing good. God canโ€™t not love us because God is love. He is the epitome of it. Some may paint the picture in your mind of a God who scolds or punishes. But those images are not of the real God. They are fictitious ones. Some people stand so long in anticipation of the judgment and warning others that they are not focusing on the real Lord. His arms are open wide. Lovingly, waiting for his children to come home.โค๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿงก

I called out to the Lord๐Ÿ”†

In my distress, I called out to the Lord–he set me free. Have you ever felt that before? What does it feel like when he sets you free? Do you get a word? Do you feel a boost of sudden inspiration? Do you hear a voice that says, โ€˜get up?โ€™ Get back to work? I have felt and heard all those things. The Lord will guide you if you ask him to. His power is incomprehensible and will help you conquer anything. He’s a moving force. He’s not stagnant. He’s more than a listening ear. He is not a do-nothing being. โ€˜I called out to the Lord, and he set me free.โ€™ He took action. In my distress, he was near. An ever-present help in time of need. The greatest of friends, indeed. I cried out to the Lord, and he answered me. He heard my woes. He comforted me. He brought me great help. I got up again. I kept moving. I completed my tasks. He told me I am well. He gave me visions. There is nothing the Lord canโ€™t do. In a universe made up of trillions of galaxies, I called out to the Lord. And he heard me! He heeded to my voice. He gave me solace. He protected me. He told me not to worry. I met the day, the week, the year. I cried out to my God, the creator of the multiversesโ€”and he heard little old me!โœจ๐ŸŒ ๐ŸŒŒ๐Ÿช๐ŸŒโ˜„๏ธโš›๏ธ๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ’œโญ๏ธ

Trust doesn’t mean do nothing

People tend to think that trust means inaction. Like, oh, if I trust in God, he will do everything. This frustrates me when people believe the Lord has to act on their behalf. Trust does not mean do nothing. Often we don’t know how to hear from God or care to, for that matter. Our egos may tell us that we have enough. That we are doing enough. We don’t have โ€˜timeโ€™ for God. You mean, the huge white-bearded man in the sky? Why cater to him or ask for his input, one may think. But we need God. He is more than an outside force who created everything. His voice comes from within. When we listen to God, we accomplish a lot more for ourselves, for our family–for humankind. One may wonder how to hear from God? It starts with a conversation. It begins with studying scripture. I didn’t mean that you should wholly depend on scripture. Many people do this. They have the Bible trump, Jesus. God is not only in the Bible text written 2,000 plus years ago. God is not only sitting up in the sky holding all the universe(s) together either. God is as breathing and alive as you are and wants to be an active force in your life. The more you focus on him, the easier it will get. Go into a quiet place. Get away from the noise. Meditate on his word. Ask. And then wait to hear back. The answer often comes from your intuition and can even come from others. But please be careful with the โ€˜hearing from others.โ€™ They can steer you their way, and when their voices outweigh your own and Godโ€™s than you are in the danger zone. Listen: anything pure, anything whole, anything that is beautiful and good comes from God. Trust is faith in action.๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ™โš›๏ธ๐ŸŽ‘๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒ

Godโ€™s Love is what matters the most

So there is a bit of a debate about cosmic order and whether or not everything has been predetermined. Determinism states that there is no such thing as free will. Your future is already predicted, as was your past, etc. However, there is this other theory called Open Theism. What that means is that God is the greatest chess player that has ever lived. He knows all the steps we can take and every which way we can go. Not only that, but he has a plan for every step. Even for when we fail. Isnโ€™t it amazing that we have a God who loves us so much that he has a plan for when we fail also? Whether it is determinism, open theism or a little bit of both that exists, it doesnโ€™t matter too much. What matters to me is that I have a God who loves me so much that no matter what, he will be there. He will be the one listening when I need a friendly ear. He will be the one with me when I have to visit a sick relative in the hospital. He will be with me when I go on a new opportunity or if I have any heartbreak. He will be there with me every day. Every time. God’s love never fails. Friendship may fail. Godโ€™s wonโ€™t. Relationships may fade, God will always be there. He isnโ€™t a fair-weather friend. He isnโ€™t only here for a โ€˜season.โ€™ He is here for life. For eternity. Iโ€™m so glad he is because I wouldnโ€™t have it any another way. Heโ€™s the one who brings me through every time.

Science & Physics

There is โ€˜another worldโ€™

God is the greatest mathematician that has ever lived. A mathematician of the highest order. He used very advanced mathematics in constructing the universe. God is contained in the mysteries of modern physics and vice versa. I have never felt so clear or โ€˜at at homeโ€™ since I began studying physics.โš›๏ธ I bet Aristotle wishes he knew during his life what we know now. There are patterns. These patterns tend to repeat themselves, and they reveal a lot. As far as everyday life is concerned, we’ve found the underlying ingredients. Physics is not done, but it has discovered some big things. There are still mysteries. But the mysteries do not consist of how the moon and the stars behave, for example. But most do not understand Quantum mechanics, anyway. Electrons make all light. But what physicists expected to happen with the electrons did not occur. Thus Quantum mechanics was born. When you look at the electron, it looks like a particle. However, it is a wave. The electron is a wave, and that represents reality. Why does it change from when you look at it compared to when you don’t look at it? It’s because we are Quantum Systems ourselves whether we realize it or not. So therein lies the problem. There’s this thing called entanglement, and it still baffles the most outstanding physicists in the community today. It means that the superposition of the wave vs. the superposition of the electron means that there are two versions, the electron as a point and the electron as a wave. But you’ve only seen the particle in one superposition. You will never see it on the other. The other is a separate worldโ€”a separate universe. There is one you in bothโ€”a duplicate. What happens here in this universe does not occur in the other universe, according to physics. But you will never visit that other world or know it. There is even an app called Universe Splitter and you can ask it to make a prediction. A real photon gets emitted from a lab in Geneva, Switzerland (I love how so much physics stuff happens in Geneva, Switzerland!). Well, anyway, it’s an excellent app. You should download it. But before you lose sleep and wonder about this other โ€˜self.โ€™ Keep in mind, the greatest physicists in the world tell us only to act as though we are in this universe. Technically, we are particles like electrons. God said that he would give us โ€˜new bodies.โ€™ God also said we are made in his โ€˜likeness and image.โ€™ This entanglement, my friends, just means we are entangled [with Christ]. As a matter of fact, the whole universe is a wave. We are a part of it. We become one with him.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒŒ๐Ÿ”†โš›๏ธ๐ŸŽ‡๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ˜‡โœจ

God will bring you through it โค๏ธ

God will get you through anything. Rest assured. You may not know where to turn or what steps you should even take, but he will lead you and guide you if you ask him to. Seek after his wise council. You do not need to worry, but only be still and ask him to help you. There have been times where I had no idea what my life was doing or how I would end up. God brought me through those times. He is a problem solver. A friend. Refuge. An ever-present help in our time of trouble. The beautiful thing is, heโ€™s omnipresent. He can be everywhere at once. He is a God who does not sleep. You have access to him 24 hours a day. He is glad to help you. The world will tell you there is no way out. The world will tell you youโ€™re doomed. The world will tell you thereโ€™s no hope. With God, there is always hope and more! There is restoration. The laws of physics prove to us that anything is possible. But nothing can be possible if you throw your hands up. With God, ALL things are possible. He can lead and guide you through the worst of times. He is for you.โ™ฅ๏ธ

Science & Physics

There is more than one you

You are part of the Quantum World. You are a particle. The universe came forth through a particle. You are a wave; the entire universe is a wave. The electron is a particle that we used to think was a single point and nothing more, but then around 1909, there was a huge discovery–we learned that the particle could be a wave.

That means the particle can come up in any part of ‘the wave.’ There is a different probability (or chances) that the electron can appear in other parts of the wave. This was a huge breakthrough and is at the heart of Quantum Physics. Since technically, we are particles–it proves that ‘we can show up in any part of “the wave,” also.

Quantum Physics also suggests that there are many worlds; again, back to this fact that we learned that the “object” or electron could appear in a haze of probability (wave). How can we be here or there? Where is there? I’m sure you don’t feel like you are anywhere but “here” on earth. Close to your friends, family, and planted in your home, and close to your pets.

However, according to Quantum Mechanics, you have a duplicate. EVERY single particle (EVERYTHING) in the universe(s) has a duplicate. That’s because there’s this thing called “entanglement.” And it has left the greatest physicists scratching their heads for decades!

This thing called “entanglement” drives the universe because it proves a double of every particle, even YOU! So, one may ask, where else can you be? Especially since you don’t ‘feel’ like you are anywhere else but here? We are a culture very dependent on our senses. We believe what we can see, hear, taste, or feel is true–and often believe nothing more.

We are devoid of imagination. But physicists aren’t. They know that what is real is what cannot be seen too. It has nothing to do with religion, but ironically, the ‘religious’ cannot see past five feet in front of them. I’ll put it to you like this, imagine that if all that there was is here, you would be limiting God’s talent and power. Because that would limit God to creating you, maybe, you may even feel like everything is not centered around ‘you.’

After all, we used to believe that the earth was at the center of the universe. Nicolaus Copernicus detailed the radical idea that the earth (along with other planets) rotates around the sun in the early 1500s. However, it took more than a century for it to become widely accepted!

In a culture that likes to be absorbed with themselves, how could we imagine that there may be “two” of us, and where is our other self? How could we imagine that we are not at the center of the universe and of primary importance? How could we imagine that our ‘world’ is not central to the entire scope of the universe(s)?

The truth is, ALL those other worlds–trillions and trillions and more can exist without little old us. So, one may ask, well then, if God made all these things–how can he care about us? Well, God can still care about us because God is not limited in his love like we are. He is not too occupied in one universe that he doesn’t recognize the other universes. God is not self-absorbed.

Again, what do we do with this problem of ‘our other self?’ No need to worry about that because there has always been another ‘self.’ Romans 14:8 tells us, “If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we belong to the Lord.” This other self is the Lord’s. Just as you are, humble yourself. You cannot control things. You are not at the center. You are not “chosen” or “more loved” or approved. “When one died, all died. And he came to die for ALL of us.”

The different worlds theory may rattle the worlds’ greatest physicists, but it is this–anything is possible, there are many ‘worlds.’ As a matter of fact, there may be infinite worlds. In an endless “eternal” world, not only can anything happen, every rare thing will.

In a rare world where God can produce infinite numbers and copies of ourselves, why should you believe that you’re next to nothing ‘size’ in the universe would not justify that there is a God who can be personable with you? God loves you just the way you are. He is shaping and molding you.

Science & Physics

There are many worlds!๐ŸŒŒ๐Ÿช๐ŸŒ

You can understand Quantum Mechanics. Quantum Mechanics is necessary to understand why the sun shines, for example. Quantum mechanics is necessary to understand so much in the world! The most significant discovery of the twentieth century was that the electron is a wave.

By 1909, we discovered that the electron is again, a wave, it’s how you see light–through vibrating electrons. It is not a point particle in an orbit, it’s a wave. The electron can be a wave and a particle. It’s shape becomes spread out. It can look like a spherical wave; however, you never see the electron coming out in any area.

The electron goes back to looking like it’s a point again. But electrons can be different when you’re looking at them from when you’re not looking at them. Really, they are all spread out in wave functions when you’re not looking at them, but when you look at them they look like particles.

Is that your eyes playing tricks on you? Where does the electron go? Which one is reality? The wave function represents reality.

We are Quantum Systems ourselves. So it is not easy for a Quantum System to understand another Quantum System. We are ALL in the Quantum World. YOU obey the laws of Quantum Mechanics.

Plus, there is this thing called entanglement. Every particle (electron) has a duplicate. It may spin a different direction, but both particles behave the same way and even look the same. You see, even if they are spinning in opposite directions: they are the same. The reason the electron changes when you look at it is because you are a duplicate.

Even the famous Higgs Boson particle has a duplicate. You see, all particles are entangled. Everything is basically, entangled. YOU are entangled. Try to wrap your brain around that. This used to even spook Einstein out.

So, how are there duplicates of everything in the universe? Are there parallel universes? Now, physicists say there could be assimilation and even copies of yourself out there. How do you sleep at night and not wonder what the other ‘you’ is doing right now ?

What doesn’t happen in this universe, will happen in the other. I recommend you download the app, Universe splitter, it sends your message to a real lab in Geneva, Switzerland that emits a photon, and splits the universe to make a prediction for you.

You are in two different states of environment whether you feel it or not. Don’t try to wrap your head around this, that there are two of you, in different ‘worlds.’ It’s sometimes called the many worlds interpretation.

We don’t know how many worlds there are out there, we don’t even know if they are finite or infinite. We don’t know for sure that there are an infinite number of worlds. But even if they’re finite, its a really big number of worlds!

Instead of stressing over the fact that there are many worlds, know that once you learned that electrons could be in a super position, you learned that people could be in superpositions too.

So, the electron can go jumping into different parts of the ‘wave,’ and so can you! Well, I don’t lose sleep over that information. Instead, it fascinates me because I know that I am made in the image and likeness of Him; thus, I experience what ‘he’ experiences.

We feel the same things. We share. We are duplicates. We are entangled [with Christ]! The Bible says we are entangled whether or not we realize it.

God’s love is BIG enough to love only us!

The multi-verse theory is more than you can imagine. Picture a trillion trillion+ other universes. If there is a vast multiverse with all sorts of things going on, the likelihood of ‘other life’ out there becomes higher, says Sean Carroll, world-renowned physicist, and mathematician. I think they’re out there, and they know God. I mean God, the Holy Father, and Jesus.

Famous physicist Brian Greene says, “If there is alien life out there, they are at least 2-3 billion years ahead of us!” So, why would they care about little old us? Well, if other life does exist, it may be so far away and so much more advanced to even care about us or what we’re doing here.

The probability that the multiverse theory is true is based on data. If there are many different ‘regions of space,’ life can exist in these sub-places. What is the probability that this is true? It’s high. It’s based on math. Mathematical principles tend to drive physics.

String theory says that the Laws of Physics can be different from place to place. But we don’t know if that is true for sure. However, the multiverse is very sensible to consider. Because God exists, life exists. Without God, there would be no life on earth or potentially anywhere for that matter.

Atheists don’t see a God who can be a caring or loving being that has a place set up for us, the afterlife. Few scientists especially cannot accept this. I’ve heard that if there was a God, why would he hide himself? But God is not hiding. He is all around.

We can see him in nature. We can see him in each other. We can adhere to his voice. We can say our prayers. We can find his inspiration from reading the Bible. He talks to us through our intuition. If it is good, pure, right, and whole; it is from the Lord. When God is involved, there is no doubt or shadow of turning.

I’ve heard the argument that if there were a God, entropy still would be the same way it was (low) as in the ‘early universe.’ What people don’t understand, though, is that God is perfect. He doesn’t have to make sense.

I’ve watched a demonstration of a Hubble space telescope in Sean Carroll’s talk that discusses all the galaxies with each having a hundred billion stars, and he says that none of them are necessary for us to exist on earth. So, why are they there?

Sean tends to think that we can’t argue that God would put them there for us to exist. Because they can be there with or without us, that is true. We are very tiny compared to a vast universe, now we suspect, universes. So, why would God make us? He doesn’t need to make ALL that to make us.

Why wouldn’t God only make our home the Milky Way? God’s love for us in a multiverse with a trillion trillion-plus universes is BIG enough to love just ‘us.’

His love is BIG enough to choose us. It may be big enough to love ‘others,’ perhaps, out there. Regardless, God’s love is BIG enough to not only love just ‘us.’ It is big enough for God to love ONLY you, all by yourself!

All Things Are Possible

I just learned by listening to Sean Carroll that I am an eternalist. I am not a presentist. I donโ€™t believe that we have only โ€˜now.โ€™ An eternalist understands Einsteinโ€™s theory of relativity and that there is really no such thing as โ€˜now.โ€™ Time is not โ€˜the same for all observers.โ€™ I believe in that. Itโ€™s one of the reasons we have different โ€˜time zones.โ€™ I experience it every day while working with people. It’s a fact. A lot of my clients are on Pacific time where itโ€™s still sunny there while the sun is coming down here. An eternalist also believes that the universe is 4 dimensional and may be a hologram kind of imitating the movie, โ€˜Star Wars.โ€™ If youโ€™ve followed my science posts before, you may have read my articles on the holographic principle. The latest theory definitely proves that we feel as though we are on a 3 Dimensional surface, but it very well could be a 2 dimensional grid. What people donโ€™t understand is that God is the greatest computer design we could ever have. Some people tend to think of God as the big man with the white beard whose very old and waiting to scold them! God is modern, though. God is scientific. He can do anything! Just take a look at galaxies, systems that stand alone made up of trillions of stars! And there are at least 100 billion of them that weโ€™ve seen so far! God did that. He is more than you can fathom. Do I believe there is no such thing as now and that the past, present, and future are equally real in space-time as the theory of relativity suggests? You bet! Do I believe that the universe is eternal and 4 dimensional? Even though it feels like a three dimension? Sure, why not? Do I even believe that the entire universe (now believed to be maybe even made up of parallel universes), could be a hologram? Yes, because with God, ALL things are possible! And I mean ALL things!๐ŸŒŒโ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŽ‘๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒ—๐ŸŽ‡๐ŸŒ™โœจ๐Ÿ’“๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ•Šโš›๏ธ

The moon๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ—๐ŸŽ‘

Iโ€™ve read that the moon helps balance our climate. โ€˜It may even be fundamental to the maintaining and stabilization of the seasons.โ€™ It also stabilizes the earthโ€™s rotation as it wobbles back and forth slightly on its axis.

We have a perfect designerโ€”God. So the sun has a purpose, the moon has a purpose, the stars, well, you get it! The moon also causes tidal waves. High and low tides are caused by the moon. The moon’s gravitational pull generates the tidal force.

The tidal force causes Earthโ€”and its waterโ€”to bulge out on the side closest to the moon and then back onto the side farthest from the moon.

God is amazing. He canโ€™t be anything but perfect. The roles that (the sun and) moon play and how with the earth they all work together just reminds me of how life is perfect.

No matter what happens. There are no mistakes when you walk by faith. There is a cosmic order.โœจ All things work together unto good (for those who love the Lord).

Above you have the moon pictured as a lunar eclipse that occurs when the Moon moves into the Earth’s shadow. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are exactly or very closely aligned with Earth between the other two, and โ€œonly on the night of a full moon.โ€

There is no time, there is entropy๐ŸŒŒ

We feel like we’re moving through time, or flowing through it. However, time is not what we think it is. From a physics perspective, the idea that time passes or that we move through time–disappears. It’s no where to be found in the fundamental Laws of Physics, but it’s clearly in our every day lives.

So, what is going on? Is time an illusion? The passage of time notion disappears from a physicist point of view. There are Laws of Motion and Gravitation that help us predict the future, where there will be eclipses, for example. You can EVEN predict the past.

The Laws of Physics wil tell you what was going on in past history. Itโ€™s called Conservation of Information. All the information you need is in it. It can predict the future and past. This goes against the idea that time is flowing. There is nothing special about โ€˜now.โ€™

The Laws of Physics describe EVERY moment of time being of an EQUAL importance. There is no distinction between past, present, and future in space-time, taught Einstein. We have records, memories, photographs, and artifacts.

However, we don’t have photogrpahs or autographs that tell us about the future in the same way as we do our past. We feel as though the past is settled but as though the future is not, and that we can make choices. But we don’t believe we can make choices to change the past.

So why are they so different? It’s called entropy. Entropy is the disorderness of the system. We are taught that entropy increases over time. There is a directionality. The second law of thernodanamics says that entropy increases over time. The first law of thermodynamics is that energy is constant.

โ€œBut in terms of the second, over time entropy increases,โ€ says Sean Carroll–a famous physicist. The second law does tell us entropy will be higher in the future but lower in the past. When you look at a cup of coffee, you don’t see the atoms in which it’s made. It gets more mixed together and harder to distinguish over time right after you mix it.

โ€˜Think of the arrow of time this way, it is not built into the fundamental nature of reality. We live in the aftermath of the big bang,โ€™ says Sean Carroll, a world renowned physicist. โ€˜It was very low entropy and orderly in the beginning.โ€™

Since time is relative, and the past, present, and future are equally as real in space-time, I often wonder if I can still regard myself as the broken sixteen-year-old I once was and doing all of this from my hospital bed. Just a thought!๐Ÿค”

Walking on water ๐ŸŒŠ

According to physics, we are “particles.” As a matter of fact, we can at times even be waves! You see, a wave is a particle. We learned that through the famous double split experiment. Now, that’s not to say you can act as though you are just a particle. Of course, you can’t; you’re human. You are made up of a “bag of particles,” and please don’t take offense to that. I believe you have a soul, a spirit, a mind, and faith, etc. But we are also made up of billions and billions of atoms. In a world where gravity holds everything together, we would never try to walk on water.

But if God didn’t make Quantum physics, the Lord would’ve never been able to do it, and I’ll tell you why. ‘Quantum physics is magic because none of it issues forth from your common sense. Particles pop in and out of existence, one time, it’s a wave, and the next time it’s a particle. It can interact with itself. You measure the particle here, but it shows up there! It can even pull you away from the gravity field of a black hole. And in our mind, NOTHING can get you out of a black hole. It is E=MC2!” says Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson.

It’s a common phenomenon known to the universe but unbeknownst to us because we don’t live in that place. So it’s not supposed to make sense. We are not living in the universe of Quantum mechanics, where everything is broken down to its tiniest parts. But since God is omnipresent, he can live in all universes. He created them. In the Quantum World, Jesus walking on water makes sense. In this world, it doesn’t. Physics agrees with the mystical idea that with God, all things are possible. In an eternal universe, not only can anything happen, but every rare thing does!

White light!๐ŸŒˆโ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‡

Today I taught a lesson on white light. Did you know that white light is a mixture of all the colors of a rainbow? When white light hits an object, all you can see is the color the object is not absorbing. That is the color it’s reflecting. A tomato is red because it’s absorbing all the colors besides red. A banana is yellow because it’s absorbing all the colors besides yellow. โ€œWe don’t see โ€˜things.โ€™ We see light bouncing off of things,โ€ says Bill Nye. Without light, there would be nothing but darkness. It’s also how we heat our homes, cook our food, and even hear sound! It’s everything! โ€œIn the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. God said, โ€˜Let there be light,โ€™ and there was light!โ€ (Genesis 1:1-1:3). There you have it–light, trillions of stars, planets, galaxies, and much more, even us!

Quantum Physics๐ŸŽ†

Did you know that you are technically considered a “particle?” It’s true. ‘We are nothing more than a spec,’ says The Science Guy, Bill Nye. Quantum mechanics proves that it’s true. Quantum mechanics involves breaking ‘things’ down to their tiniest parts.

We are basically particles, as a matter of fact, we are waves, try to wrap your head around that for a moment. A particle is a wave. We learned that after the famous, ‘double slit experiment.’ There are many worlds.

I’ll tell you why. A particle is a wave, or an electron (you), and you can pop up into any part of a โ€˜wave.โ€™ Back to what I’ve talked about before, there is more than one choice or route you can take and what doesnโ€™t happen in one universe, can happen in another.

For example, in one universe, you may decide to become a nurse. In another universe, you may not. But you would never know because you cannot communicate with ‘that’ other universe.

It’s called entanglement. The two particles (electrons) can be on different ends of the earth. One can be in Los Angeles and one in New York. But they will imitate each other and even behave the same way.

Before you get spooked out by this idea that there could be another ‘you’ in another world, keep in mind, physicists tell us to live as though you are only living in this one!

Actually, in an infinite universe, such as the one weโ€™re in, there can be copies of you out there being made right now. This supports the idea of string theory and that there may be multiple universes.

The Bible tells us we are made in his image and likeness and thus, entangled with Christ! There’s another version of you out there (in Jesus๐Ÿ™).โค๏ธโš›๏ธ

Going out!

This was my attempt at going out the other night and putting on a little make-up! Yes, I emphasize โ€˜littleโ€™ because I’ve never liked wearing make-up with a mask on my face! Although masks are not required as much as they were before, I have not been vaccinated yet and don’t want to take any chances! I will be getting double vaccinations soon! Life has changed. While I’ve pretty much gotten used to this โ€˜new normal,โ€™ I realize how frail life is and want to stay as healthy as I can. Tomorrow’s agenda: doctor’s appointment and teaching students online! I’ve been so busy with work.

Donโ€™t give up!

As I gaze upon this beautiful photo, I think of our eternal universe and all the possibilities there are in life. And I struggle. Iโ€™ll tell you why. The greatest physicists say that we are in an eternal universe and anything is possible. As a matter of fact, not only can anything happenโ€”every rare thing will happen in this life. The Bible tells us in several places that with God, all things are possible. Not with man, but with God, โ€˜these things are possible.โ€™ In a world devoid of hope at times. Itโ€™s hard to feel hope or that the โ€˜thingโ€™ youโ€™ve been waiting for can happen. However, in an eternal universe, such as the one we’re in, it can! Here God and physics align! However, it has to be compatible with the Law of Physics. There is a cosmic order. God is still in control, and while he doesnโ€™t allow everythingโ€”he will enable more than we realize. That thing youโ€™ve been waiting for can happen. Donโ€™t give up!

It is better to give than to receive

As we all know, and psychologists say it is those who give that โ€˜receiveโ€™ the most. The world has changed though. We may not be as apt to share with all the chaos going on around us. Weโ€™re trying to recover from a pandemic. Many are still unemployed. Some have been displaced from homes or lost loved ones. This can leave you feeling like life is tough and make you feel hopeless. But keep in mind, giving is not only through monetary resources. There is giving of your time, your ability to care, your effort to check in on others or to spend time. Make someone feel appreciated or loved. These are all ways we can give to one other during a difficult time.โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’™

The Gregorian Calendar

I hope your weekend is good!๐Ÿ™โ˜€๏ธ Did you know the Gregorian calendar that we use today was initially the Julian calendar? The Pope changed it back in 1582 because the Julian calendar was wrong. Iโ€™m watching a podcast of Joe Roganโ€™s with Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson, and itโ€™s very interesting.

In 1582, when Pope Gregory XIII introduced his Gregorian calendar (developed by Jesuit Catholic Priests), Europe adhered to the Julian calendar, first implemented by Julius Caesar in 46 B.C. Since the Roman emperor’s system miscalculated the solar year’s length by 11 minutes, the calendar had since fallen out of sync with the seasons. The Jesuits had to take ten days out of the calendar and compensate for it through Leap Days.

B.C. means โ€˜Before Christ,โ€™ but it has since been renamed to indicate, โ€˜Before Common Era,โ€™ and this attempts to take the religion out of it. C.E., which means โ€˜Christ Entered,โ€™ has now been changed to โ€˜Common Era.โ€™ The term in Latin is โ€˜Anno Dominiโ€™ (A.D.), or โ€˜in the year of our Lord.โ€™ There isn’t a year โ€˜0โ€™ because 0 doesn’t exist as a Roman numeral. I still use B.C. and A. D. in my writings.

solar year โ€” the time it takes Earth to orbit the sun โ€” lasts around 365 days. The main difference between the Julian and Gregorian calendar is that an average year in the Julian calendar is 365.25 days while an average year in The Gregorian calendar is 365.2425 days. Again, the Jesuit priests had to take ten days out of the calendar back in Oct. of 1584.

The Gregorian calendar is the calendar used all over the world today! We have seasons because Earth’s axis โ€“ the imaginary line that goes through the Earth and around which the Earth spins โ€” is tilted. … The โ€œfixedโ€ tilt means that, during our orbit around our Sun each yeardifferent parts of Earth receive sunlight for different lengths of time. However, the year that corresponds to our seasons is slightly different from the year that corresponds to our sun.

Here is a link to the video Iโ€™m watching. The part about the calendar system starts at about 54:35 seconds if you’d like to start there:

Self-help

You have to trust

At times I feel like life can be overwhelming, and I almost canโ€™t get through the day without screaming! There are obstacles and issues that arise. Some I couldn’t even have imagined if I tried, and they leave me feeling tired and hopeless. It is in these times that God is working in my favor, and I don’t fail to recognize that. Even though it may not seem like it, he has a plan.

Heโ€™s never let me down and heโ€™s not going to now. As a matter of fact, God sees my heart and the opposition before me. He knows itโ€™s not my fault. So if I keep the faith, donโ€™t give up, and keep working for himโ€”I will be promoted. We are not meant to live a life of convenience but one of faith and persistence.๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ’™โ˜๏ธโ˜€๏ธ

The Sun Is a Star ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŒ

The sun is amazing. It’s a star. All suns are stars and vice versa. As a matter of fact, our bodies are even made of the same elements that stardust is made of. What makes our solar system unique is we only have one sun in it, though. Most solar systems have two or more suns in them. Can you imagine if we had two suns? Our sunโ€™s gravity pulls the earth closer to it, constantly. God is like gravity. He’s pulling us closer to the son and holding us together. โ€œHe is before all things, and in him all things hold togetherโ€ (Col. 1:17). NIV.โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒ…๐Ÿ”†๐ŸŒŸโœจ๐Ÿ’ซ

Is there other life out there?

We are told that our galaxy, the Milky Way, is 13.8 billion years old per the Big Bang! We’re only a handful of billions of years old. It’s not that long in comparison to other galaxies. What I mean is, they could be a few billion years ahead of us. So, think about if we were to move from now into a few billion years into the future, it could be radically different. It’s not likely that if there is other life, they are only 10,000 years โ€˜olderโ€™ than us. We are a young universe and planet! We can’t all be at the same starting point. It’s unlikely that some alien world has observed us. And โ€˜UFO means an unidentified flying object; it doesn’t necessarily mean alien,โ€™ says Neil deGrasse Tyson. However, I did have a โ€˜dreamโ€™ that I was visited by two UFOs once. And it felt so real. To this day, I question whether it really happened or not and think about it! I never thought I would find myself saying this, but I do believe there can be life on other planets!๐Ÿช๐Ÿ›ธ๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐ŸŒŒโœจ๐ŸŒ ๐ŸŒŸ

God’s Throne Roomโœจโญ๏ธ๐ŸŒŸ

Apparently, God’s throne room is a cluster of stars and even has a name. NASA has a picture of the cluster of stars that I’ve copied below here. This cluster holds our Milky Way Galaxy together and time slows down there. When you apply Einstein’s theory of relativity, a day in heaven is equivalent to a thousand years on earth. And that is how it is there, in heaven.

โ€˜Thatโ€™s because time varies based on velocity, energy, and mass (gravity). Letโ€™s take mass (gravity). According to Einsteinโ€™s theory of relativity, as gravity increases, time slows down.’ Time moves more quickly for someone in a low gravity environment than it does for someone in a high gravity environment.

This may explain why time moves slower in Godโ€™s throne room, again. The Lord dwells where gravity is high relative to that on earth. We know that His throne is in a โ€˜star clusterโ€™ containing many large stars, something which would create massive gravity and slow it down perhaps to where a day is ‘equivalent to a thousand years.’

Abraham 3:2 reads: โ€œAnd I saw the stars, that they were very great, and that one of them was nearest unto the throne of God: and there were many great ones which were near unto it.โ€ The name of the one nearest to Godโ€™s throne is Kolob. Abraham tells us that Kolob โ€œgovern[s] all those [worlds] which belong to the same order as that upon which [Abraham] standest.โ€

Kolob could be at the center of our galaxy. The gravitational pull created by this cluster of huge stars (along with gravity from dark matter) holds our galaxy together and keeps the outer rims (where we are) from flying off into the intergalactic space.

The massive gravity in that cluster would slow down time, perhaps to the point where one day equaled a thousand years on earth. The Book of Abraham was canonized by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1880.

The โ€˜sun๐ŸŒžโ€™

Light is everywhere, and it is the โ€˜fabricโ€™ of space that keeps the sun in orbit โ€” the fabric is gravity. The gravity of the sun actually keeps the earth near it and in orbit, also. I have heard that gravity is everything. It holds us together. As a matter of fact, the sunโ€™s gravity is pulling the earth closer to it! God is like gravity. He pulls us towards the โ€˜sunโ€™ and keeps everything together. โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒŒโš›๏ธ๐ŸŒ ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒ…๐Ÿ˜Ž

You’re important to God

This verse has applied to my life so many times. When we go through โ€˜troubledโ€™ waters, God is with us. He is an ever-present help in our time of need. God cannot separate himself from us. It is us who separate ourselves, donโ€™t listen, write him off, and then we turn around and say, whereโ€™s God? Why isnโ€™t he doing โ€˜thisโ€™ or โ€˜thatโ€™ in my life? You have to understand, most of the things you desire mean nothing in the greater scheme of life. Yes. They mean nothing. What we deem essential: success, love, travel, or money, for example, don’t mean much. Don’t get me wrong, he wants us to have the desires of our heart and blesses us at times. But what matters most is his heart for us and vice versa. Your quest for โ€˜happinessโ€™ or whatever that is by western definition, is not as crucial to our Heavenly Father as you think it is. Whatโ€™s important is that you have a heart for him.โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’›

We are entangled๐Ÿ’œ

String theory tells us there can be multiple universes and that the Big Bang may have occurred many times. If an electron is present in Los Angeles, for example, it can also be present in New York. It will be an identical particle that will look and even behave in the same manner. The particles can be on opposite ends of the earth, but they will still act in the same way. Another name for this phenomenon is entanglement. Einstein used to call it โ€˜spooky action at a distance.โ€™ This is why the latest physicists now believe there may be multiverses and even assimilation, โ€˜copiesโ€™ of ourselves. We know that the Bible tells us: โ€˜For Christ’s love compels us because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again (2 Cor. 5:14-15).โ€™ We are โ€˜entangledโ€™ with Christ. The Bible also says that in heaven, Christ โ€œwill transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious bodyโ€ (Philippians 3:21). We are made in his image and likeness.โš›๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐ŸŽ‡โœจโ˜€๏ธโ˜ฆ๏ธ๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŒ™

God Is Love

God is love๐Ÿ’–. No matter what happens in your life. He is the epitome of it. Things may not go right or the way youโ€™d like. Friendships may fail, and loved ones may leave. You may acquire an illness. But no matter what happens, love is working for you. Itโ€™s helping you succeed. Itโ€™s helping you to overcome and make new friends. Itโ€™s helping you feel better all around. Whether you realize it or not, God is one of restoration. That means that whatever you go throughโ€”he can restore you. You may never be whole or back to the way you were before, but you will have hope. Hope is faith in action. Faith is belief in something without evidence. You know it to be true. We were never promised an easy life, but one we could make it through. Hope and faith can bring your plans and dreams to fruition.๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’•

Everything is in Cosmic Order ๐ŸŽ‡โœจโš›๏ธ

The universe is an interesting place. Everything is in cosmic order. That’s not to say we don’t have a โ€˜sayโ€™ or choices in what happens in our lives. But we do not control everything. Ultimately, God is in control. The more we learn to trust him, the better off we will be. Some imagine God to act as a significant obstacle stopping us from promotion at times. I hate when people say, โ€˜Why God, why?โ€™ It is a pet peeve of mine. God is the opposite of what they think. He wants to see our dreams happen. We can be co-workers with God, but we have to do our part. We canโ€™t be stagnant and expect him to do everything, nor can we blame him when things donโ€™t go the way we would like. Part of being an adult is realizing that we canโ€™t have everything we want in this life. We can work towards goals and try to accomplish them. But ultimately, God is the one in the driverโ€™s seat. He wants whatโ€™s best for us and to see us happy.โค๏ธ

Heal from the inside

We picture healing to be external. Something that is โ€˜seenโ€™ or evident to be made whole. What we don’t realize is that healing has to be internal also. When you are healed on the inside, you can handle defeat of all kinds. When you are healed, or, to be made โ€˜whole.โ€™ It doesn’t matter what your external situation looks like; you can be a janitor or taxi driver, you can be next to homeless or all alone. When you are healed on the inside, it will reflect on the outside. All things will start to fall into place. Be healed. Be great.๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿค

You are not alone

Good day, friends๐Ÿž. In life, we have to trust the process. The road is sometimes curvy and not straight. There are obstacles and lots of opposition. But if you keep the faith, you will get through it and rise like the sunโ˜€๏ธ. You will understand that whatโ€™s happening is often happening to you and for no other reason than the fact that you belong to the Lord. Itโ€™ll pass. They say. But life is not meant to be one of convenience. Itโ€™s intended to be one of persistence and faith. Those who seek convenience want an easy life. Thereโ€™s no such thing. Standing up for who you are and what you believe in may cause division. But Iโ€™d rather be true to myself than cave in. Iโ€™d rather stand up for whatโ€™s right and be alone than go with the flow. Be real with who you are. Be who God would want you to be. Let your light shine because anyone in denial of a creator is in denial of themself. Anyone in denial of the fact that they are less than perfect is in denial of the Lord. He came here for this very purpose. We are not supposed to fight our battles or make it alone.

God wants what you do

The question of so many is what does God want for me? Often we view God as the big bad guy in opposition when in reality, he loves us deeply. He wants us to be happy. He doesnโ€™t delight in our pain or weakness. When we are hurting, he is there for us. When we rejoice, he rejoices with us. He wants your marriage to work, your child to succeedโ€”your business to take off, and your happiness all around. God is working for us, not against us. At times we believe that God is in opposition when bad things happen. Sometimes we bring bad things upon ourselves, and sometimes they just happen. This is when we should turn to God, not try to turn him off. He is with us in our suffering and our loss. It is God that we will dwell with forever.๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ–ค๐ŸŒŒ

Talk to the Lord๐Ÿ’œ

Yes. This is my method. I talk to God about everything. Honestly, we donโ€™t have to โ€˜talkโ€™ anymore. I know exactly what he wants me to do. That is not to say I am special or different from anyone. Maybe itโ€™s because Iโ€™ve practiced talking to him so much. Your relationship with the Lord is like a muscle that can be strengthened. The more you practice having one, the stronger it gets. Some people have trouble with discernment. They may mistake Godโ€™s voice for other voices. I donโ€™t have this problem. One of my main prayers to him has always been for him to lead and guide me. I think thatโ€™s why I know what to do often.

How to hear from God

In an eternal universe, anything can happen. God works on our behalf. The trick is to know when itโ€™s time to let him do his work and stop trying to control the situation. If you have a relationship with him, you can ask and usually hear back through your intuition or feeling. Sometimes we get caught up in ego or wanting to control things, and that doesnโ€™t always help. Sometimes we are stagnant and expect God to move while we do nothing. We have to go to him, first and foremost. One of my prayers is always for him to lead me and guide me, and while I know I sometimes fall off my tracks, heโ€™s a loving God who puts me back on my path. He never gives up on us.๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ–ค

A new earth ๐ŸŒ

Good morning, friends. One day everything will be swallowed up by entropy. Every building, every structure, everything you see (including us) will come to an end. There will be no such thing as thought itself. Thought itself will be swallowed up by life. This is predicted to happen far into the future, but anything can happen, so it could happen sooner. I don’t mean to sound so dim. Our mortality is real. Fortunately, in the Book of Revelation, John has a vision while on the island of Patmos, and we are told that he saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. He wrote that he saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully adorned for her husband. We are taught by physics that once there is nothing left other than some particles forming in the void, there can be a โ€˜reformingโ€™ of particles. All we are is particles brought to consciousness, quarks, neutrinos, protons, etc. In an eternal universe, life repeats itself.โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ–คโš›๏ธ๐ŸŒ…๐Ÿž๐ŸŒ ๐Ÿฆ’

God Will Guide Us

He will guide us. Itโ€™s true, especially if we ask him to. Recently someone approached me and said how hard it must be for those who donโ€™t live with God. But hereโ€™s the thing, we canโ€™t live โ€˜withoutโ€™ God even if we try. Even when we turn our back. God is there. Even when we donโ€™t realize it he is in the room. I donโ€™t necessarily think people have a harder life when they donโ€™t acknowledge God. As the Bible states, rain will fall on all of us. Godโ€™s love does not discriminate. Heโ€™s there and working in your favor. He also has a plan for when you mess up or fail. His love is unconditional. Just take a look at the beauty of nature and all he gave us. He came down to save us in the person of Jesus Christ. Grace is a gift thatโ€™s freely given. What makes a walk with God special is that you feel his loving hand guiding you.๐Ÿž๏ธ๐Ÿ’–

Often our reaction makes a difference. Our response will change things in our lives. At times, we may get all emotional over something we cannot control. I’m guilty of it. I try to do my best to not react, like that, especially when provoked. But I fail at times. Iโ€™m sure we all do. It’s no wonder that self-control is one of the fruits of the spirit, and when we maintain our position no matter what–we can function better. What I mean is, the more we focus on ourselves and work within, the better it is for everyone else. Avoiding confrontation is one remedy I use. By using avoidance, you don’t have to deal with unwanted feelings. We each have to walk with God, and while we fail at being as non-reactive to drama as weโ€™d like, there is always a second chance. Accept. Move forward. Fulfill your purpose here. It is yours alone. We come here for a short time and after our โ€˜timeโ€™ is used up, we go back to God.๐Ÿ™โ™ฅ๏ธ

Quotes

To me, he is lifeโ˜€๏ธ

This quote stuck out to me because itโ€™s how I feel. I need Jesus, his healing capabilities, his presence, love, and therapeutic qualities. Heโ€™s the one who heals me every time and guides me through. I donโ€™t just want Jesus in my life. I need Jesus. To me, he is life.โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒ…

Self-help

Life is not โ€˜hardโ€™

God never promised us an easy life but one that we would get through. Life can be โ€˜hardโ€™ when you go through it alone. But with God, we are never alone. He’s there whether or not you realize it. You have access to him twenty-four hours a day. He does not sleep or forget about you. Often we go searching for answers in the wrong places. When we expect for life to be smooth, we have to know–life can be challenging. Our mortality is real. We come here for a range of time with purpose, and when our time is finished, we go back to God. Life is by no means perfect, and neither should we expect it to be. We are moving here from faith to faith, the only thing that is real is the relationship between you and God. All else is an illusion.๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน

Quotes

You are not โ€˜waitingโ€™

Waiting on God is not easy, especially when you donโ€™t know what heโ€™s doing in your life. I donโ€™t entirely agree with this quote, though, and Iโ€™ll tell you whyโ€”we are not โ€˜waiting,โ€™ we can work with him if we want to. People tend to look at God as some big bad antagonist whose will is opposed to ours. But itโ€™s not true. God (the Holy Spirit) is with us. Often heโ€™s leading us to our dreams. We donโ€™t know it. We may be too anxious about why they havenโ€™t happened or not doing anything to make our situation better, we can be coworkers with God, but we have to do our part. Nothing will just come to you! You have to take action. Whether you want to buy a new house or open a business, you have to work at it. I wish people would stop looking to God as an obstacle. Itโ€™s because of him you are where you are. You didnโ€™t do it by yourself. Everything happens by him and for him, according to the Bible. Start realizing how much you are connected; you and God are by no means worlds apart!
